Sellers can create attractive item description pages to provide information to potential buyers about their items, payment and shipping methods, and returns policies.
Gmarket monitors listings and promotes selected items by applying free discount coupons and advertising them within Gmarket and on other websites.

Gmarket charges a service fee, inclusive of payment processing, only when a transaction is completed.

* The Service Fee is based on the Total Transaction Amount.
- Total Transaction Amount = Selling Price + Optional Fee + Shipping Fee (Discounted fee is excluded)
* The service fee for the Auction platforms is 6%
* The GST(Goods and Services Tax) will be borne by Gmarket till year 2010.

Seller grades vary according to credit points and customer rating.
They can be upgraded only when the conditions below are all satisfied along with customer satisfaction level.
You need more than 50% customer satisfaction for power seller and more than 40% for good seller.
Seller grades are updated on the first day of every month based on the previous month’s data.
For good and power sellers, insignias are shown under the seller name on the search result list in Gmarket.
