Asus has quietly expanded its portable audio lineup in China with a compact Bluetooth speaker from the Adol sub-brand, and the device leans heavily on portability, lighting effects, and water resistance. It also comes with a battery claim that looks strong at first glance, although the full 10-hour figure only applies under specific conditions.
The speaker is built around a 20W audio setup and uses three drivers, including two bass drivers and a dedicated tweeter for high frequencies. Asus pairs that hardware with True Wireless Stereo support, allowing the speaker to connect with another compatible unit for a stereo setup.
RGB lighting with five modes
A customizable RGB ring sits around the Adol logo on the front. Asus says the lighting system offers five modes, including one that can sync with the beat of the music.
That makes the speaker more visually expressive than a typical compact model. It also positions the device for casual use in a bedroom, on a desk, or during small gatherings.
Compact enough to carry easily
The design is clearly aimed at users who want something easy to move around. The speaker weighs 480 grams and measures 142 x 86 x 57 mm, which should make it simple to slip into a backpack.
A built-in strap adds another carrying option. Combined with the compact footprint, that detail supports the speaker’s portable use case in different settings.
Built for water exposure and flexible use
Asus gives the speaker an IPX7 rating, which adds protection against water exposure. That makes it better suited for outdoor use or environments where splashes are a concern.
Connectivity is also broader than Bluetooth alone. The speaker supports Bluetooth 6.0 with a claimed stable range of up to 10 meters, and it also includes a TF card slot, AUX input, and a built-in microphone for hands-free calls.
Battery life depends on how it is used
The speaker includes a 2000mAh battery, and Asus says it can last up to 10 hours on a single charge. That figure only applies when the volume is set to 50 percent and the RGB lighting is turned off.
In practice, the actual runtime will depend on usage. Higher volume levels or active lighting effects will likely reduce the total listening time compared with the maximum claim.
Price, colors, and availability
In China, the speaker is sold through JD.com for 239 yuan. It is offered in four colors: Meteorite Gray, Rose Gold Pink, Sage Green, and Iris Purple.
The launch happened quietly through the Adol sub-brand, and there is no word yet on availability outside China. For now, the speaker remains a domestic release with a strong focus on compact design, flexible connectivity, and visually active styling.
