RedMagic has pushed the 11S Pro onto the global stage with a clear priority: keep performance steady when gaming sessions get long and temperatures rise. The phone is built around cooling hardware that is meant to do more than support the specs sheet, and that focus sets it apart in a crowded gaming-phone market.
At the center of that approach is the AquaCore cooling system. RedMagic pairs an internal 24,000 RPM fan with a 13,116 square millimeter vapor chamber and AI-assisted server-grade fluorinated liquid cooling, which the company says is the first of its kind in the industry.
Cooling takes the lead
The cooling setup is not treated as a side feature on the 11S Pro. RedMagic uses it as the main selling point, arguing that sustained performance often depends on how well heat is controlled during heavy use.
The liquid cooling element is designed to spread heat more effectively while remaining resistant to impact, cold temperatures, and electrical conduction. RedMagic also built it for a compact body, so the system does not appear to be an afterthought in the internal layout.
That cooling hardware is visible, too. A circular transparent panel on the back exposes part of the liquid cooling system and turns a technical feature into a design element.
A flat design with flagship gaming hardware
The rear panel follows a flat design without a raised camera island. That choice gives the phone a cleaner look than many premium devices that still rely on prominent camera bumps.
For core performance, the 11S Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, with clock speeds reaching up to 4.74 GHz. RedMagic also adds the RedCore R4 chip to handle audio, haptics, and visual effects, reducing the load on the main processor.
The display is a 6.85-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and brightness of up to 1,800 nits. RedMagic keeps the front camera under the display using a BOE X10 panel, which allows the front to remain free of a notch or punch hole.
Battery, software, and durability
The RedMagic 11S Pro carries a 7,500 mAh battery, which gives the device a strong base for long gaming sessions. It supports 80W wired charging and 80W wireless charging, along with wired and wireless reverse charging for powering other devices.
On the software side, the phone ships with RedMagic OS 11.5 based on Android 16. It also includes AI features such as Circle to Search and real-time translation, making the device more practical outside gaming use.
RedMagic gives the phone an IPX8 rating as well. That certification adds another layer of appeal, especially because gaming phones are usually discussed more for speed and cooling than for water resistance.
Cameras remain in flagship territory
Even with gaming as the main focus, RedMagic did not cut back on imaging hardware. The rear setup includes a 50 MP main camera with OIS and a 50 MP ultrawide camera.
For selfies, the phone uses a 16 MP front camera that sits under the display. That placement keeps the viewing area uninterrupted and better suited for immersive gameplay.
Global versions and pricing
For global markets, the RedMagic 11S Pro comes in Nightfreeze and Subzero. The memory options are 12 GB/256 GB for $849 and 16 GB/512 GB for $949.
RedMagic says the global model is the same as the China version. That means buyers get the same combination of a fast chipset, a 144 Hz display, a large battery, and the cooling system that remains the device’s biggest headline feature.
