A 7,500mAh Battery and Extreme Cooling Put Red Magic 11S Pro in Gaming Mode for Hours

Red Magic is making a clear play for mobile gamers who care about sustained performance rather than short benchmark peaks. The Red Magic 11S Pro combines the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, a large 7,500mAh battery, and an aggressive cooling setup aimed at keeping frame rates steady during long gaming sessions.

The device is positioned as a global gaming flagship, and its core message is consistency under pressure. That focus matters because heavy games can quickly expose thermal limits, so Red Magic is building the phone around stable output instead of chasing headline numbers alone.

Performance built for demanding games

At the center of the Red Magic 11S Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, which Qualcomm says can reach clock speeds of up to 4.74GHz. Red Magic describes it as faster than the regular version, making it a clear fit for graphically demanding titles.

To reduce the load on the main processor, the phone also includes the RedCore R4 chip. It handles audio, haptics, and visual effects, which helps the system stay more efficient during long gaming periods.

That dual-chip approach is meant to do more than improve launch speed or short bursts of power. It is designed to keep the phone responsive and stable when gameplay stretches on for hours.

Cooling is part of the selling point

A high-end chip needs more than raw power to stay effective, and Red Magic has built the 11S Pro around that idea. The AquaCore Cooling System uses an internal fan spinning at 24,000 RPM, paired with a 13,116 mm² vapor chamber to spread heat more evenly across the device.

The phone also uses fluorinated liquid cooling that can be seen through the transparent rear design. Beyond the visual effect, the system is intended to help control temperatures in demanding games such as PUBG Mobile, Genshin Impact, Call of Duty Mobile, and Honor of Kings.

Display and controls support competitive play

On the front, the Red Magic 11S Pro carries a 6.85-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother motion, while brightness reaches 1,800 nits to improve visibility outdoors.

Red Magic keeps the under-display 16MP front camera hidden beneath the BOE X10 panel, avoiding a notch or punch hole. For competitive gaming, the screen also offers an instant touch sampling rate of up to 3,000Hz, and the body includes 520Hz shoulder triggers for extra in-game controls in FPS and MOBA titles.

Large battery and fast charging

Battery life is another major part of the package. The Red Magic 11S Pro uses a 7,500mAh battery, which is unusually large for a flagship gaming phone and should help reduce how often the charger is needed.

Charging support is equally flexible, with 80W wired and wireless fast charging. The phone also supports wired and wireless reverse charging, allowing it to top up accessories such as earbuds and smartwatches, or even another smartphone.

Design, cameras, and software

The phone keeps the gaming-first look Red Magic is known for, but the rear panel is flat and has no camera bump. That design should make it more comfortable to hold in landscape orientation during play, and the device also carries an IPX8 rating.

For everyday use, the camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Red Magic also ships the 11S Pro with Red Magic OS 11.5 based on Android 16, along with Google Gemini features such as Circle to Search and real-time translation.

The Red Magic 11S Pro comes in Nightfreeze and Subzero. Pricing starts at USD 849 for the 12GB/256GB model and USD 949 for the 16GB/512GB version, with preorders beginning on 9 June 2026 and global sales opening on 10 June 2026.
