These complaints matter because they do not come from a single cause. Some are linked to hardware condition, others to heavy usage, and some appear after system updates that introduce new problems instead of removing them.
When the screen shows a green line
One of the most visible complaints is the sudden appearance of a green line on the display. In some cases, the line is not only green, but can also appear in red, pink, or purple.
The problem is said to show up more often on older models such as Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12T. Eraspace explains that possible causes include overheating, physical damage to the screen, connector problems, software bugs, and the use of an unsuitable charger.

These Xiaomi problems may be fixable, but users still need to pay attention to how they use the device. Normal usage, proper care, and avoiding triggers such as excessive heat or an unsuitable charger can help keep the phone in better condition for longer.
