Asus is pushing the VivoWatch 6 Plus into more premium territory without letting go of its health-focused identity. The most visible change is the use of a titanium body, a move that gives the smartwatch a tougher and more refined feel on the wrist.
The device was shown at Computex 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan, and it stands out as more than a cosmetic refresh. Asus is positioning it as a serious health companion with a design that looks closer to a high-end wearable than a typical wellness watch.
Premium materials, larger display
The VivoWatch 6 Plus pairs its titanium casing with a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel. That display is larger than the 1.39-inch screen used on the standard version, and it is protected by sapphire crystal glass for scratch resistance.
The combination of titanium and sapphire gives the watch a more luxurious appearance. Asus also says the titanium body improves durability against impact while keeping the watch light enough for everyday wear.
Health tracking remains the core focus
Despite the upgraded materials, the main emphasis still sits on health monitoring. Asus continues to include ECG, or electrocardiogram, support to help detect heart rhythm patterns, alongside a blood pressure monitoring module.
Those features keep the VivoWatch line firmly in the health-device category rather than turning it into a style-first smartwatch. For users who pay close attention to heart-related metrics, that combination is one of the most important parts of the package.
AI Agent adds deeper analysis
Asus is also introducing a new AI Agent algorithm to the VivoWatch 6 Plus. The system is designed to analyze breathing movements during sleep in greater detail.
It also tracks gait anomalies through gait analysis, using movement data as a long-term health indicator. That approach is meant to help the watch spot signals that may not appear in standard monitoring.
Built for broader health reporting
All biometric data collected by the internal sensors will sync with Asus’s AI-based health care platform. That integration is intended to give users more comprehensive health reports from the watch’s measurements.
Asus says the platform may also help with early detection of chronic stress or other physical issues. With that direction, the VivoWatch 6 Plus is being shaped as an active health assistant rather than a passive data recorder.
For now, Asus has not shared battery capacity, official pricing, or global availability details. Even so, the device already signals a clear next step for the VivoWatch line: a more premium smartwatch with more advanced health monitoring at its center.
