8,000mAh Battery and 144Hz Display Put OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro in the Spotlight for June 10 Launch

OnePlus is putting the spotlight on the Turbo 6X Pro with a mix of unusually large battery capacity, a 144Hz display, and a launch schedule already set for the China market. The device is being positioned as the more eye-catching model in the new Turbo 6X series, which is set to arrive on 10 June.

The company has also outlined enough early details to show that the Pro version is meant to lead the lineup. It will sit alongside a standard Turbo 6X model, but the Pro brings the more complete specification set, including a higher-end battery package, stronger charging support, and a more ambitious camera setup.

Launch timing and starting price

According to OnePlus’ Weibo announcement, the launch event will take place on 10 June at 2:30 p.m. local time in China. The Turbo 6X series will start at CNY 1,500, placing it in a relatively aggressive price band for the domestic market.

That pricing helps frame the series as a value-focused product line, even though the Pro model is being equipped with several premium-style features. OnePlus appears to be using the Turbo 6X Pro as the main attention driver for the entire launch.

What the Turbo 6X Pro brings

At the core of the Turbo 6X Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Super chipset. The phone will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 from the start, which gives it a current software foundation for launch.

OnePlus has confirmed a Samsung M14 panel with 1.5K resolution for the display. The screen also supports a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, while the refresh rate on both models in the series reaches up to 144Hz.

Battery and charging are major selling points

The biggest headline feature may be the 8,000mAh battery inside the Turbo 6X Pro. OnePlus pairs it with 80W wired fast charging, aiming to support long use without lengthy downtime.

The company says the phone can deliver up to 29 hours of video playback on a single charge. It also claims up to 8 hours of gaming or 17 hours of navigation, underlining the device’s focus on heavy daily use.

Camera features and extra tools

The Turbo 6X Pro includes a dual rear camera system, led by a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation, or OIS. OnePlus is also adding Live Photos, Soft Light Portrait, and Film Filters to the Pro model.

These additions suggest that the company wants the device to appeal beyond core hardware specs. The camera package is designed to offer more variety in everyday shooting without shifting the focus away from battery life and display performance.

Cooling, signal stability, and protection

To support sustained performance, OnePlus is using vapour chamber cooling on the Turbo 6X Pro. The company is also including a 360-degree “surround antenna” system to improve signal stability in different usage positions.

Durability is another area where the Pro model is being pushed forward. OnePlus says the device carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, indicating broad protection against dust and water.

Colors and the standard Turbo 6X

The Turbo 6X Pro will be sold through OnePlus’ online store in China in two colors: Prancing Black and Wishful Orange. Both names are described as translations from Chinese.

The standard Turbo 6X will come in three colors: white, green, and black. One white variant is being marketed under the name “White One,” although OnePlus has revealed fewer specifications for the regular model so far.

Even with the limited detail on the standard version, OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch together with the Pro on 10 June. The company’s early disclosures make it clear that the Turbo 6X Pro is intended to stand out as the flagship draw of the series, while the regular model broadens the lineup toward a lower entry point.
