Acer is positioning the Swift Edge 14 AI as a premium laptop for users who value portability first. At just around 990 grams and about 7.47 mm at its thinnest point, the device is built to be carried easily without giving up the feel of a high-end machine.
The laptop enters Indonesia with two processor options and a starting price of Rp 24.5 million. The higher variant is priced at Rp 27 million, and both configurations come with a set of productivity software and warranty support aimed at professional users.
Lightweight body, premium build
The Swift Edge 14 AI leans heavily on its physical design as a selling point. Acer uses stainless steel and magnesium alloy to keep the chassis slim while maintaining a solid, premium feel.
Compared with its previous generation, which was 9.5 mm thick, this model is noticeably thinner. That slimmer profile, combined with the sub-1 kg weight, makes it one of the more portable options in the premium laptop segment.
Two versions for the Indonesian market
Acer offers the Swift Edge 14 AI in two configurations. The model with Intel Core Ultra 5 325U costs Rp 24.5 million, while the Intel Core Ultra 7 355U version is sold for Rp 27 million.
Each unit includes Microsoft Office Home & Student 2024. Buyers also get Office 365 Basic for one year, which adds extra support for day-to-day work needs.
Performance built for modern work
Under the hood, Acer equips the laptop with Intel Core Ultra processors, up to the Core Ultra 7 355. The chip includes an NPU capable of up to 49 TOPS, which is intended to accelerate AI-based tasks.
The memory and storage setup is equally practical for productivity. The laptop comes with 16 GB dual-channel LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of NVMe Gen 4 SSD storage, with support for expansion up to 2 TB.
That configuration places the Swift Edge 14 AI in a strong position for office work, document handling, and heavier multitasking. Acer is clearly aiming for users who want a thin laptop that still responds well under regular workloads.
OLED display and long battery life
The 14-inch OLED panel is another major highlight. It supports up to 3K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, which should help deliver sharper visuals and smoother motion.
Acer also claims 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage and VESA Display True Black 500 certification. Those specifications point to deeper contrast and broader color reproduction for users who care about display quality.
Battery life is one of the most striking claims attached to the device, with endurance rated at up to 26 hours. Acer pairs it with a 100-watt adapter for charging.
Connectivity and AI tools
For wireless and wired connections, the laptop includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1, and Thunderbolt 4. It runs Windows 11 and serves as the platform for Acer’s AI features.
Among those features is Recall, which periodically captures user activity and organizes it for easier searching later. Live Captions is also included to convert audio into text in real time.
Acer additionally provides Co-Creator for generating images from text or sketches. The company rounds out the package with Acer AI Solutions, which includes Acer QR Capture, Acer AI Image Generator, Acer Video Speed Controller, and Acer Display Lens.
Support and protection
Beyond the hardware, Acer is bundling service coverage that strengthens the product’s value proposition. The laptop comes with a three-year service and spare parts warranty.
Acer also includes one year of Acer Accidental Damage Protection. Combined with the software bundle and AI tools, the Swift Edge 14 AI is being sold as a mobile work device that focuses on practicality, premium design, and modern productivity features.
