OnePlus Turbo 6X Locks In June Launch, 144Hz Screen And 7,000mAh Battery Stand Out

OnePlus is moving closer to launching a new mid-range phone that appears aimed squarely at mobile gamers. The Turbo 6X Series has now entered a clearer release window, while early leaks suggest a package centered on smooth visuals and long battery life.

The strongest signal so far comes from OnePlus China President Li Jie, who said on Weibo that the OnePlus Turbo 6X Series will launch in China before June 18. That statement has turned what was once speculation into a much firmer launch timeline.

Gaming-Focused Display

The standard OnePlus Turbo 6X is tipped to use a 6.72-inch LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution. More importantly for fast-paced use, the display is said to support a 144Hz refresh rate.

That combination should matter to players who want smoother motion in games and a more responsive feel in everyday use. Scrolling through menus, switching apps, and handling fast action content could all benefit from the higher refresh rate.

Performance And Battery Life

Under the hood, the OnePlus Turbo 6X is said to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. This points to a device positioned in the mid-range segment with efficiency and practical gaming performance in mind.

The bigger attention grabber is the battery. The phone is rumored to pack a 7,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, a pairing that should appeal to users who want longer sessions without constant charging breaks.

Cameras, Build, And Protection

Camera hardware is also beginning to take shape in the leaks. The rear setup is said to include a 50MP main camera using the OmniVision OV50D sensor, paired with a 2MP depth lens, while the front camera is expected to use an 8MP sensor.

Design details point to a plastic frame, an 8.5 mm thickness, and a weight of around 208 grams. The phone is also said to carry IP64 certification, which would provide protection against dust and water splashes.

Combined, those details suggest OnePlus is targeting buyers who want a budget-conscious gaming phone without giving up endurance or basic durability. If the leaked specifications hold up, the Turbo 6X could become one of the more closely watched mid-range launches in the coming days.
