Prices for four Vivo and iQOO phones have gone up again in India, and the timing may frustrate buyers who were waiting for a better deal. The increases range from Rs 1.000 to Rs 3.000, with Vivo T5 Pro seeing the steepest jump.
That matters because the change is not limited to the newest launches. Three iQOO models have now recorded a second price increase within two months, showing that sticker prices can shift faster than many buyers expect.
The biggest jump hits Vivo T5 Pro
Vivo T5 Pro takes the largest hit in this round. The 8 GB + 128 GB variant moves from Rs 29.999 to Rs 32.999, while the 8 GB + 256 GB version rises from Rs 33.999 to Rs 36.999.
Both configurations increase by Rs 3.000, pushing the model into a higher price bracket than when it first launched. For shoppers tracking value in the midrange segment, that is a meaningful shift.
iQOO models also climb again
Among the iQOO devices, iQOO 15 now starts at Rs 74.999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant, up from Rs 72.999. The 16 GB + 512 GB model has also increased, moving from Rs 79.999 to Rs 81.999.
iQOO 15R has been adjusted across all listed variants, though not by the same amount in every case. The 8 GB + 256 GB version rises from Rs 46.999 to Rs 47.999, while the 12 GB + 256 GB configuration goes from Rs 50.999 to Rs 52.999 and the 12 GB + 512 GB model from Rs 57.999 to Rs 59.999.
iQOO Neo 10 is affected as well, with the 8 GB + 256 GB variant increasing from Rs 37.999 to Rs 39.999 and the 12 GB + 256 GB version moving from Rs 42.999 to Rs 44.999.
| Model | Old Price | New Price | Increase |
|---|---|---|---|
| iQOO 15, 12 GB + 256 GB | Rs 72.999 | Rs 74.999 | Rs 2.000 |
| iQOO 15, 16 GB + 512 GB | Rs 79.999 | Rs 81.999 | Rs 2.000 |
| iQOO 15R, 8 GB + 256 GB | Rs 46.999 | Rs 47.999 | Rs 1.000 |
| iQOO 15R, 12 GB + 256 GB | Rs 50.999 | Rs 52.999 | Rs 2.000 |
| iQOO 15R, 12 GB + 512 GB | Rs 57.999 | Rs 59.999 | Rs 2.000 |
| iQOO Neo 10, 8 GB + 256 GB | Rs 37.999 | Rs 39.999 | Rs 2.000 |
| iQOO Neo 10, 12 GB + 256 GB | Rs 42.999 | Rs 44.999 | Rs 2.000 |
| Vivo T5 Pro, 8 GB + 128 GB | Rs 29.999 | Rs 32.999 | Rs 3.000 |
| Vivo T5 Pro, 8 GB + 256 GB | Rs 33.999 | Rs 36.999 | Rs 3.000 |
The pattern is clear across most iQOO variants: an added Rs 2.000 is now the common adjustment. The only exception in that lineup is the iQOO 15R 8 GB + 256 GB model, which rises by Rs 1.000.
Why buyers are paying attention
Vivo and iQOO have not issued an official explanation for the change. Even so, the move fits a broader trend in India’s smartphone market, where brands are adjusting prices amid an ongoing memory or RAM crunch.
That pressure has already affected other names in the industry. The Nothing Phone (4a) series has also been linked to higher prices, while OnePlus Nord 6 has reportedly seen its price raised for a second time as well.
For consumers, the message is straightforward: waiting can cost more. A phone that seems affordable today may be more expensive a short time later, even if it is already on sale.
The latest revision also shows how quickly launch prices can lose relevance. With iQOO 15, iQOO 15R, and iQOO Neo 10 all seeing a second increase in two months, buyers looking at the midrange and premium tiers may need to move sooner rather than later.
In Vivo T5 Pro’s case, the Rs 3.000 increase is especially noticeable because it directly changes the model’s position in the market. If this pricing pressure continues, more phones from other brands could face similar adjustments.
