HONOR Watch 6 enters a crowded smartwatch market with a claim that is hard to ignore: battery life of up to 35 days. That promise puts the device in a different conversation from many wearables that still need frequent charging.
Just as important, HONOR pairs that endurance with AI-based health tools and more than 120 sports modes. The result is a smartwatch aimed at users who want a device that can handle daily wear, workouts, and health monitoring without becoming a constant charging burden.
Battery life remains the headline advantage
The Watch 6 uses a 980mAh battery, which HONOR says can last up to 35 days under laboratory testing conditions. For people who travel often or spend long periods outdoors, that level of endurance is one of the device’s strongest selling points.
The watch is also built for tougher environments, with IP69 protection against water and dust plus 5ATM resistance for swimming and shallow-water activity. That combination makes it more practical for users who want a smartwatch they do not have to baby.
Health tracking leans on AI sensor support
On the health side, HONOR Watch 6 monitors heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, sleep quality, and body energy throughout the day. It also includes Quick Health Scan, which gives users a fast snapshot of key health indicators.
Another layer comes from the Daily Health Report, which automatically shows a summary of fitness data each morning. These functions are supported by the HONOR IntelliSense System, a sensor platform designed to improve signal capture and the accuracy of heart rate and blood flow tracking.
HONOR notes that the Watch 6 is not a medical device and that its health data should be treated as reference information. That distinction matters, because the watch is positioned as a companion for awareness rather than a replacement for clinical checks.
Sports features go well beyond basic tracking
The Watch 6 supports more than 120 sports modes, with detailed workout tracking and performance analysis. HONOR also adds more specialized functions for several sports, giving the watch a broader appeal than a simple step counter.
Trail runners get AI Running Coach support, climbing metrics, route deviation alerts, and distance tracking powered by AccuTrack dual-band six-star GPS. That GPS setup is especially useful for outdoor training where position accuracy matters.
For badminton users, the watch can measure smash speed and track rally streaks. Football users get a heat map, motion path map, and performance insights that help them better understand movement patterns on the pitch.
The watch also supports touch controls that still work when hands are wet. That makes it easier to use in rain, during sweaty training sessions, or around water.
Design aims for a lighter premium feel
HONOR designed the Watch 6 around a Racing Dashboard theme inspired by the air channels of high-performance sports cars. The body uses recyclable aluminum alloy and weighs about 41 grams for the Black version without the strap.
Its beveled edges are shaped with precision to create a more three-dimensional premium look. A sandblasted finish adds a titanium-like texture, helping the watch balance style, comfort, and durability.
The smartwatch measures 46.5 x 46.5 x 10.8 mm and comes in Shadow Black and Twilight Brown. Strap options include Black Fluoroelastomer and Brown Leather.
Daily smart features round out the package
The Watch 6 uses a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a pixel density of 317 PPI. HONOR says the panel can reach a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, which should help visibility outdoors.
Personalization is also part of the package through Video Watch Faces. Users can set a live photo or a video of up to 10 seconds as the watch face background.
For everyday convenience, the watch supports dual-phone pairing so notifications from two phones can arrive at the same time. HONOR also includes a built-in AI Recorder for voice notes and smart summaries.
Additional controls include wrist-rotation gestures that can mute alarms, manage calls, skip songs, and access other functions without touching the screen. NFC is available as well, with contactless payment support through Mastercard and Visa.
Specs, compatibility, and launch pricing
HONOR Watch 6 also includes a speaker, 4GB ROM, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC. It is compatible with Android 9.0 and later, as well as iOS 15.1 and later.
In the UK, the watch starts at £149.99 and comes with a limited-time launch promotion that includes HONOR Choice Earbuds Clip in black. In Germany, pricing starts at €169.90, with launch bonuses that include either HONOR Choice Earbuds Clip in black or HONOR Choice Headphone Pro in black.
