Vivo’s Mystery Geekbench Phone Points to Dimensity 9500 and 100W Charging

A mysterious Vivo smartphone has surfaced in Geekbench, and the listing strongly suggests that the company is preparing one of the first devices powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500. The handset, identified by model number V2545A, is now drawing attention because it appears to sit firmly in the premium segment.

The same device had already appeared in China’s 3C certification database before its Geekbench outing. That earlier listing revealed support for 100W fast charging, a specification that fits well with a flagship-class phone.

What the benchmark listing indicates

Geekbench shows V2545A using a chipset with the model number MT6693. The processor name is not stated directly, but the CPU configuration, GPU metadata, and chipset model number all point strongly to MediaTek Dimensity 9500.

If that identification proves correct, Vivo is positioning the device for a premium launch later in 2026. It would also place V2545A among the first phones to adopt MediaTek’s newest flagship platform.

100W charging adds to the premium profile

The 3C certification from April 2026 is an important clue because it confirms 100W wired charging support. Combined with a flagship chipset, that kind of charging speed usually signals a device built for high-end performance.

That combination has led observers to view V2545A as more than a routine mid-cycle refresh. The early evidence points to a phone that is being shaped around speed, power, and top-tier hardware.

Vivo or iQOO, the identity is still open

One of the strongest possibilities is that V2545A belongs to the iQOO line. The brand often emphasizes performance, fast charging, and aggressive hardware choices across its higher-end models.

At the same time, the device cannot be tied to iQOO with certainty. Vivo has already confirmed that the upcoming Vivo X Fold 6 will also use Dimensity 9500, which leaves room for V2545A to be another Vivo model built on the same platform.

Part of a wider wave of upcoming devices

Industry chatter also suggests that iQOO is preparing a next-generation Neo successor. The most discussed name is iQOO Neo 11S, which is being framed as an upgrade over the previous generation.

For context, the iQOO Neo 11 was reported to use a Qualcomm flagship chipset in its earlier generation. That pattern shows how the Neo series continues to serve as an important performance-focused line for the brand.

For now, V2545A remains unnamed, but its trail across Geekbench and 3C makes its direction clear. With Dimensity 9500 and 100W charging both in the picture, it has become one of the more closely watched Vivo-related devices currently under development.
