Anker Nano 45W Marries Fast Charging With Cooler Battery Care

Anker is pushing a different idea of what a compact charger should do. The Nano 45W Smart Display Charger is built not only for speed, but also for battery care, with a feature set aimed at users who want faster charging without exposing their devices to unnecessary heat.

The key selling point is Care Mode, which automatically recognizes compatible devices and adjusts the power output during charging. That approach is designed to support newer devices such as the iPhone 15, iPhone 16, iPhone 17, and the latest iPad Pro models.

Lower heat, longer battery health

Anker says Care Mode is meant to keep charging temperatures more stable, especially for people who often leave their phones plugged in overnight. Based on internal testing and TÜV certification, the company claims the technology can keep charging temperatures about 5 degrees Celsius lower than a conventional 45W charger.

That matters because excess heat is one of the main factors that accelerates lithium-ion battery degradation in smartphones and tablets. By positioning cooler charging as a practical benefit, Anker is targeting users who care as much about battery longevity as they do about charging speed.

45W output remains in place

Despite the battery-focused angle, the charger still delivers a maximum output of 45W. Anker says it can charge the iPhone 17 Pro to 50 percent in around 20 minutes, based on internal laboratory testing.

The power management system also adjusts output in real time according to the device’s battery condition. That makes the charging process more efficient while reducing unnecessary stress on connected hardware.

Smart Display adds visibility

Another notable feature is the Smart Display, which gives users real-time charging information. The screen also makes it easier to switch charging modes and change the display orientation depending on how the charger is positioned.

That small display turns a basic accessory into something more interactive. Instead of relying on a simple indicator light, users can monitor charging status more clearly at a glance.

Smaller and lighter with GaN

Anker also uses GaN, or Gallium Nitride, to keep the body compact. The company says the Nano 45W is about 47 percent smaller and 36 percent lighter than a standard adapter with a similar capacity.

The reduced size makes it easier to carry in a pocket, pouch, or work bag. Anker says the charger is aimed at active users who move between locations and want a portable solution that still delivers strong performance.

Price and availability

The Anker Nano 45W Smart Display Charger is already available through Anker Indonesia’s official channels on Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop, and Blibli. In Indonesia, it is priced at around Rp385 ribuan.

With Care Mode, a Smart Display, and a compact GaN-based design, the charger is positioned for users who want a modern accessory that balances speed with battery protection. The formula is simple: fast charging, but with less heat and more control.
