Titanium, 30-Day Battery Life, and 3,000-Nit Brightness Put Amazfit Balance Ultra Ahead

Amazfit Balance Ultra arrives as a premium smartwatch that is built for people who move often and expect more from their wearables. Its strongest appeal is a combination that is still relatively rare in one device: a titanium body, a bright AMOLED display, and battery life that stretches far beyond the usual charging routine.

That mix immediately places the watch in a different conversation from ordinary fitness models. Amazfit is clearly aiming at athletes, outdoor users, and active professionals who want durability without giving up a refined look.

Built for tougher use without losing the premium feel

The Balance Ultra uses Grade 5 titanium for the case, a material known for being both strong and light. The display is protected by sapphire crystal, which adds another layer of resistance for daily use and outdoor activity.

The watch measures 44.8 mm x 44.8 mm and weighs around 57 grams without the strap. Amazfit offers it in Black and Black-Brown, keeping the design understated enough for sport and casual wear alike.

Display visibility is a major advantage

On the front, the smartwatch carries a 1.5-inch AMOLED panel with a 480 x 480-pixel resolution. More importantly, it reaches a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, which is unusually high for a wearable of this class.

That brightness level makes a clear difference when checking notifications, workout data, or navigation outdoors. For runners, cyclists, hikers, and users who spend time under harsh sunlight, readability becomes one of the device’s most practical strengths.

Battery life is where the Balance Ultra stands out most

Amazfit equips the watch with a 780mAh battery, and the company says it can last up to 30 days under normal use. In heavier use, the runtime is still expected to reach around 15 days.

For precise GPS tracking, the watch is rated for up to 50 hours. That endurance reduces how often users need to recharge, which is a significant advantage for travel, training blocks, and long outdoor trips.

Health tracking and sports tools are broadly covered

The Balance Ultra tracks heart rate in real time around the clock and also monitors SpO₂, skin temperature, stress, sleep quality, and women’s health. It can issue alerts when it detects abnormal heart rate, low blood oxygen, or elevated stress.

For exercise, the watch supports more than 180 activity modes, including running, cycling, swimming, hiking, and general fitness training. Amazfit also includes dual-band GPS with six global satellite systems to improve location accuracy.

Navigation, storage, and extra hardware add more flexibility

The smartwatch runs Zepp OS 6 and supports integration with Strava, TrainingPeaks, Komoot, adidas Running, and Intervals. It also includes 64GB of internal storage, giving users extra room for supporting data and content.

Offline maps and route navigation make the device more useful in unfamiliar places, especially where mobile connectivity is limited. A built-in LED light with white, red, and SOS modes adds another practical feature for dark environments or emergencies.

Prepared for demanding environments

Beyond its premium materials and battery size, Amazfit says the Balance Ultra has been tested for impact, vibration, extreme temperature changes, and challenging weather conditions. The watch also carries 10 ATM water resistance, making it suitable for swimming and wet environments.

Those credentials make the device appealing to trail runners, long-distance cyclists, hikers, and athletes who need a smartwatch that can handle tougher conditions. Amazfit Balance Ultra is already on sale in China at 4,299 yuan, while the global price is expected to land at around 600 US dollars.
