Oppo has expanded the Reno 16 Series to global markets outside China with three models at once: Reno 16 5G, Reno 16 Pro 5G, and Reno 16F 5G. The lineup arrives with one clear message for midrange premium buyers: bigger batteries, fast charging, and tougher protection now matter as much as design and cameras.
The most attention-grabbing member is the Reno 16F 5G, which carries a 7,000mAh battery. It is paired with SuperVOOC 80W charging, giving the device one of the largest power packs in its class without giving up fast top-up support.
Battery capacity is the main differentiator
While the Reno 16F 5G leads on endurance, the other two models are also well equipped. The Reno 16 5G and Reno 16 Pro 5G both use 6,000mAh batteries and support 80W fast charging.
This makes the series unusually consistent on charging speed across the range, while still leaving the Reno 16F 5G as the battery-focused option.
Display and hardware vary by model
The Reno 16F 5G uses a 6.57-inch AMOLED Crystal Guard+ display with Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,372 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1,400 nits in HBM mode, with Crystal Guard protection on top.
Under the hood, Oppo equips the Reno 16F 5G with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset. The phone is offered with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Camera setup leans on 50MP sensors
Photography is another major part of the package. On the rear, the Reno 16F 5G includes a 50MP main camera with 2-axis OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
For selfies and video calls, Oppo adds a 50MP front camera. The combination makes the model look capable for users who want a flexible camera system in the midrange segment.
ColorOS 16 and IP69K protection across the family
All Reno 16 Series models run ColorOS 16 based on Android. Oppo also gives the three devices IP69K certification, which offers strong protection against dust and high-pressure water jets.
The full lineup is also compatible with Oppo Bubble accessories. That support adds another layer to Oppo’s broader device ecosystem around the new Reno family.
Prices and color choices for the global market
In global markets, the Reno 16F 5G comes in two memory versions. The 8GB/128GB variant is priced at THB 15,999, or around Rp7.9 million, while the 8GB/256GB version costs THB 16,999, or around Rp8.4 million.
The Reno 16 5G is offered in 8GB/256GB for THB 19,999, or around Rp9.9 million, and 12GB/256GB for THB 22,999, or around Rp11.3 million. The Reno 16 Pro 5G is sold only in 12GB/256GB trim at THB 26,999, or around Rp13.3 million.
Color options also differ by model
The Reno 16F 5G is available in Pop White, Dream Purple, and Twilight Violet. The Reno 16 5G comes in Dream Purple, Twilight Violet, and Pop White.
The Reno 16 Pro 5G is limited to Starlight Black and Pop White. The lineup gives buyers a broad mix of understated and more expressive finishes across the three models.
