Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Ultra, Laptop Tipis 975 Gram yang Ternyata Masih Kuat Main Game AAA

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition stands out because it tries to do two things at once: remain a premium ultraportable laptop while still handling modern AAA games. That combination makes it especially relevant for office workers and creators who move frequently but do not want to give up gaming entirely.

At 975 grams and 13.9 mm thick, the laptop is easy to carry in one hand and simple to slip into a compact bag. The Seashell color, a matte cream white finish, gives it a clean premium look, while the side-mounted power button helps keep the keyboard area visually tidy.

Built for mobility first

Several small design choices show Lenovo’s focus on travel-friendly use. The laptop includes a physical privacy shutter for the webcam and several USB-C ports, which suit users who often work outside the office.

The retail package is also relatively complete. Lenovo includes a charger adapter, a wireless mouse, USB and HDMI adapters, and a manual inside the box.

That extra adapter support matters because connectivity still relies heavily on USB-C Thunderbolt. Users with older devices or accessories that use different ports will still depend on dongles or adapters.

OLED display that does more than look good

One of the strongest selling points of the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition is its 14-inch PureSight Pro OLED panel. It uses a 2.880 x 1.800 resolution, or 2.8K, with a 120 Hz refresh rate, touchscreen support, and brightness reaching up to 1,100 nits.

That combination makes it attractive not only for entertainment but also for visual work. When used for typing, light photo editing, and watching films, the OLED panel delivers sharp colors and high contrast.

For creators, the screen’s color reproduction is an important advantage. The touchscreen function also adds flexibility for quick navigation without relying only on the touchpad.

Fast enough for daily work

The tested unit was the Singapore version, which uses an Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor. The official Indonesian model uses Intel Core Ultra X9 378H, with the main difference being maximum clock speed, which reaches 5.1 GHz on the Singapore model and 5.0 GHz on the Indonesian model.

Other core specifications remain the same. The laptop carries 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, and Windows 11 Pro.

In everyday use, the system feels responsive. Boot times are fast, app switching is smooth, and opening many browser tabs does not cause noticeable slowdown.

Tasks such as writing articles, light photo editing, and video calls also run well. That reinforces its position as a premium work laptop that does not sacrifice basic speed.

The surprise is gaming performance

The biggest surprise comes from the graphics side. Even without a discrete GPU like an Nvidia GeForce RTX or AMD Radeon, the integrated Intel Arc B390 manages impressive results for a body this thin.

Several AAA and e-sports games can run at playable frame rates. Forza Horizon 6 reached 50-60 FPS at 1,920 x 1,200 resolution on Low settings.

Hogwarts Legacy ran at 45-55 FPS on the native 2,880 x 1,800 resolution with Low settings. Death Stranding recorded 40-50 FPS at 1,920 x 1,080 resolution on High settings.

Other titles also showed respectable results. Genshin Impact landed at 35-45 FPS on native resolution with Low settings, while Honkai: Star Rail posted 25-35 FPS on native resolution with Medium settings.

Competitive games were not left behind. Dota 2 ran at 55-65 FPS on native 2.880 x 1.800 resolution with High settings, and Counter-Strike 2 reached 40-50 FPS on native resolution with High settings.

Pragmata was the heaviest workload in the tests, but it still remained playable at 25-30 FPS on 1,920 x 1,200 resolution with High settings.

Most of the testing was done at the screen’s native resolution, which is higher than Full HD. That means there is still room for better frame rates if the resolution is reduced to 1,920 x 1,080.

Even so, the positioning is clear. The Yoga Slim 7i Ultra is not a replacement for a mid-range or high-end gaming laptop if the goal is high graphics settings.

Quiet cooling and long battery life

During gaming, the fan noise stays relatively calm and does not become distracting. That makes the laptop more comfortable to use in an office or a café.

The chassis does get slightly warm during long AAA gaming sessions, but that remains understandable for a very thin laptop where graphics work is handled by integrated graphics.

Battery life is another strong point. For daily use such as document editing, heavy browser use, social media, light photo editing, and online meetings, the laptop lasts around 8 to 9 hours of screen-on time.

With sleep or standby use included, total endurance can reach around 15 hours. That is notable for a laptop with an OLED touchscreen display, which is usually more power-hungry than an IPS panel.

When pushed with demanding games like Hogwarts Legacy, battery life drops to around 1.5 to 2 hours. That decline is expected because the CPU and GPU have to work much harder than they do in productivity tasks.

For users seeking a premium laptop with strong mobility, the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition offers a rare mix. It is light, has a sharp display, delivers fast work performance, and still handles many modern games without requiring a 2- to 3-kilogram gaming machine.
