Vivo TWS 5 Pro Packs 60 dB ANC And WiFi Lossless Audio, Battery Life Reaches 50 Hours

Vivo has introduced the TWS 5 Pro in China with a clear premium pitch: stronger noise cancellation, lossless audio over WiFi, and battery life that stretches to 50 hours with the charging case. The new true wireless earbuds launched alongside the Vivo X Fold 6 and immediately positioned themselves among the company’s most feature-rich audio products.

The headline numbers are difficult to ignore. Vivo says the earbuds support active noise cancellation up to 60 dB, while wireless audio over WiFi can reach 4.6 Mbps for lossless playback. For users who care about detail and clarity, that combination is the main reason the TWS 5 Pro stands out from a crowded premium segment.

Key Feature Vivo TWS 5 Pro
ANC Up to 60 dB
WiFi audio Up to 4.6 Mbps lossless transmission
Battery life Up to 11 hours, up to 50 hours with case
Price in China 999 yuan

Audio hardware built for higher-end listening

Vivo says the earbuds support native 96 kHz/24-bit playback and carry Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification. They also use an independent Hi-Fi DAC developed with Cirrus Logic, which is claimed to deliver a 113 dB dynamic range and THD+N below 0.0013 percent.

The acoustic setup uses a dual-driver configuration. That includes an ultra-mini balanced armature driver developed with Knowles and a dual-ring dynamic driver made by Vivo, paired with a coaxial acoustic architecture designed to align the acoustic center for high and low frequencies.

According to Vivo, the frequency response ranges from 16 Hz to 60 kHz. That wide spread suggests the company is targeting users who want stronger bass extension as well as more detailed treble reproduction.

Noise control extends beyond simple ANC

The TWS 5 Pro uses Four-Mic Deep Sea Smart Noise Cancellation 2.0, a system that supports up to 60 dB of ANC with a 5,500 Hz bandwidth. Vivo says the technology can reduce as much as 99.9 percent of surrounding noise, though real-world results will naturally depend on the environment.

Adaptive ANC and transparency mode are both included, giving users more flexibility in daily use. The earbuds also offer preset ANC profiles for airplane, subway, and bus conditions, along with Sleep Aid Mode and Immersion Mode.

Calls, charging, and everyday use

For voice calls, Vivo equips the earbuds with four microphones and a VPU bone conduction microphone. The company says this setup can reduce calling noise by up to 100 dB and cut wind noise by 99 percent, which should help in busy outdoor settings.

Battery performance is another major selling point. Vivo claims up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge with ANC turned off, while the total runtime reaches 50 hours when the charging case is included.

When WiFi-based audio mode is used, battery life is rated at five hours. Vivo also says a five-minute charge can deliver up to two hours of music playback, adding some convenience for fast top-ups.

Connected features and ecosystem support

The earbuds can connect to three devices at once, including devices running different operating systems. That should make switching between a phone, tablet, and another device much less disruptive for daily use.

Vivo also ties the TWS 5 Pro into its BlueOS ecosystem. The earbuds can connect with a smartwatch to receive audio, incoming calls, and even heart-rate broadcasts.

Beyond audio and connectivity, Vivo adds several AI-powered features. These include Smart Translation, Dialogue Translation, AI Smart Broadcast, Wireless Karaoke Audio Return, remote camera control, voice commands, and a personalized pop-up connection display through Xiaoi V Painting.

Price, colors, and durability

In China, the Vivo TWS 5 Pro is priced at 999 yuan, or around Rp 2.6 million. Sales begin on 1 July, with two color options available: Original Sound White and Quiet Realm Black.

The earbuds also carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. With WiFi lossless audio, an independent Hi-Fi DAC, 60 dB ANC, and a claimed 50-hour battery life, the TWS 5 Pro is one of Vivo’s most ambitious audio launches so far.
