Apple’s latest pricing move has already made MacBook Neo more expensive in overseas markets, but Indonesia has not followed the change yet. For buyers watching the entry-level MacBook closely, that delay may be the last chance to see the older price on official shelves.
In foreign markets, MacBook Neo has increased by US$100 across both configurations. The 256 GB model is now listed at US$699, while the 512 GB version has moved up to US$799.
Indonesia still shows the old pricing
On the official Indonesian retail site, MacBook Neo is still listed at Rp 10.749.000 for the 8 GB/256 GB version. The 8 GB/512 GB model remains at Rp 12.999.000.
That means the local price has not yet matched the overseas adjustment. For now, Indonesian buyers are still seeing the earlier price point rather than the higher figures already in effect abroad.
Why the gap may not last long
One possibility is that the units currently being sold in Indonesia are still part of older stock. If that is the case, prices can remain unchanged until new shipments arrive and align with the updated base pricing.
The increase is also being linked to tighter supply conditions for memory components such as RAM and storage. If those pressures continue, price changes in Indonesia could arrive later as current inventory is replaced.
Other MacBook prices remain visible on the same site
The same retail listing also shows other Apple notebook models at their current Indonesian prices. MacBook Air 13-inch M5 is listed at Rp 20.499.000 for the 10-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16 GB/512 GB version.
