Vivo X300e is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing additions to the X300 lineup, mainly because it combines a large 7,100 mAh battery with a body that is still expected to stay slim. If the leak proves accurate, the device could stand out by solving a problem many premium phones still struggle with: endurance without excessive bulk.
The latest details come from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, following earlier signals that the model had already appeared in the GSMA database through an IMEI listing in February. The device is not officially confirmed yet, but the new hardware claims give a much clearer picture of what vivo may be preparing.
What the leak suggests
According to the report, Vivo X300e will use a 6.59-inch flat OLED display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The same chipset has also been linked to the Vivo X300 FE, which points to a shared performance platform within the series.
The camera setup is also said to be ambitious for a model in this class. The rear system is expected to include a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
| Expected Spec | Vivo X300e |
|---|---|
| Display | 6.59-inch flat OLED |
| Chipset | Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 |
| Main Camera | 50MP |
| Telephoto Camera | 50MP periscope |
| Ultrawide Camera | 8MP |
| Front Camera | 50MP |
| Battery | 7,100 mAh |
| Charging | Up to 90W |
For selfies, the leak points to a 50MP front camera. The entire camera package is also said to include Zeiss imaging tuning and Zeiss lenses, reinforcing vivo’s continued focus on photography performance.
The battery is the real headline
The most striking detail is the battery capacity. Vivo X300e is said to carry a 7,100 mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, a combination that is rare for a phone expected to remain relatively thin.
Digital Chat Station claims the handset will measure under 8.0 mm in thickness and weigh around 203 grams. That balance between battery size and physical dimensions could become one of the model’s biggest selling points if the final product stays close to the leak.
The rear design is also said to differ from the circular camera modules often used on premium devices. Instead, the camera arrangement is expected to sit in a square-shaped layout at the upper-left corner on the back, while also looking different from the horizontal camera layout on the Vivo X300 FE.
Positioned close to Vivo X300 FE, but not identical
Vivo X300e appears to share a family resemblance with the Vivo X300 FE through its chipset choice and serious camera focus. Even so, the two models are not expected to be twins.
The X300e is described as having a slightly larger display, a bigger battery, and a different design approach. Those differences may help it appeal to users who want longer battery life without giving up flagship-level performance and imaging hardware.
For now, the device remains in the leak stage, and vivo has not confirmed any of these specifications. Still, if the report is accurate, Vivo X300e could become a standout name in the X300 series thanks to Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, Zeiss-backed cameras, and a 7,100 mAh battery packed into a body that stays under 8 mm thick.
