iQOO has quietly added a new model to the Z11 family with the launch of the Z11i, and it arrives as the most affordable option in the lineup. In China, the phone starts at CNY 1,299, or about $190, which is roughly Rp3 million, and it leans hard on endurance, 5G connectivity, and physical durability.
That positioning makes the Z11i unusual for its price class. Instead of chasing gaming-heavy performance or a more ambitious camera setup, iQOO appears to have built a budget phone around practical advantages that matter in everyday use.

Battery life is the main attraction
The biggest headline on the Z11i is its 6,500mAh battery, a capacity that stands out sharply in the sub-$200 segment. iQOO says the phone can last around 1.5 to 2 days under normal use, which should appeal to users who care more about staying powered through the day than about chasing flagship-style specs.
The trade-off is charging speed. The Z11i only supports 15W charging, so a full refill from empty can take more than 2 hours.
Built for daily tasks, not heavy workloads
Power comes from the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, an entry-level chipset designed with efficiency in mind. It is aimed at common tasks such as video streaming, social media, light productivity apps, and GPS navigation.
To support that use case, iQOO pairs the chip with LPDDR4X RAM of up to 8GB and UFS 3.1 storage of up to 256GB. The phone also keeps microSD expansion, giving buyers more flexibility if internal storage fills up.
Software is another practical touch. The Z11i runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and the interface includes battery-saving features as well as data-saving modes to stretch usage further.
A large screen with a brighter-than-expected advantage
The Z11i uses a 6.74-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution at 1,600 x 720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its roughly 260 PPI pixel density means the screen is adequate for routine use, even if it is not especially sharp compared with higher-resolution rivals.
Where it becomes more competitive is brightness. The display can reach up to 1,200 nits in high-brightness mode, which should help visibility under direct sunlight and make outdoor use more comfortable.
Simple design, but with better protection than expected
iQOO offers the Z11i in three colors: Desert Gold, Ink Shadow, and Qingfeng. More importantly for a phone in this price range, it carries an IP65 rating.
That means the device is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets from multiple directions. In practical terms, it is better prepared for heavy rain, splashes while washing hands, or bathroom steam, although it is not meant for swimming or full immersion.
The company also keeps several features that remain valuable in the budget segment. The Z11i still includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and dual SIM 5G support.
Modest cameras, unusual styling
Camera hardware is limited, which is in line with the phone’s broader priorities. The rear setup centers on a 13MP main camera with a standard LED flash, while the front camera uses a 5MP sensor inside a waterdrop notch.
iQOO adds one visual twist that is more commonly associated with gaming phones: an RGB ring light around the rear camera. It does not improve image quality, but it does give the phone a more distinctive look and could add a bit of appeal for younger buyers.
In practice, the rear light may help create mood lighting for short videos, while the front camera is best suited to video calls and casual selfies in good lighting. It is not positioned for highly detailed portraits or advanced background separation.
Clear target audience at the entry level
With a large battery, dual SIM 5G, IP65 protection, a headphone jack, and a design that includes RGB lighting, the iQOO Z11i is aimed at users who value durability and convenience over raw power. That makes it a logical fit for students, field workers, older users, and anyone who wants a straightforward phone that lasts longer between charges.
The overall package helps the Z11i stand out in a budget market that can often feel repetitive. For buyers who want a practical device without paying much more, iQOO’s new entry-level model makes a strong case on function rather than flash.
