The iPhone 16 series has quietly become more expensive in Indonesia, and the change is now hard to ignore. As of Monday, July 6, 2026, several models were listed at higher prices on Apple Indonesia’s official distributor site than they were at launch.
The sharpest increases stand out in the higher-capacity and Pro-tier variants. The iPhone 16e 128 GB now costs Rp 12.749.000, while the iPhone 16 Pro 512 GB has climbed to Rp 28.499.000, both above their earlier prices in June and, in these cases, above their original Indonesian launch prices.
Which models moved the most
The clearest jump is on the iPhone 16e 128 GB, which rose from Rp 10.749.000 at the end of June 2026 to Rp 12.749.000. That figure is also slightly higher than its launch price of Rp 12.499.000.
Another notable increase hit the iPhone 16 Pro 512 GB. It went from Rp 24.499.000 at the end of June 2026 to Rp 28.499.000, overtaking its Indonesian launch price of Rp 25.999.000.

| iPhone 16e | 128 GB | Rp 12.749.000 | Rp 12.499.000 |

| iPhone 16 Pro | 256 GB | Rp 24.499.000 | Rp 21.499.000 |
The iPhone 16 Pro 256 GB also moved higher, now priced at Rp 24.499.000. That is well above its launch price in Indonesia, which was Rp 21.499.000.

The change matters because iPhone had not been included in Apple’s earlier round of price adjustments in Indonesia. When Apple announced broader increases on June 25, 2026, the affected categories were iPad, MacBook, and Vision Pro.
At that time, the adjustment was said to affect laptops, desktop PCs, smart speakers, and AR headsets, while iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods were still untouched. The new pricing now shows that the iPhone line has also entered the same adjustment cycle in Indonesia.
The reason for the increase has not been made clear. Still, the move comes soon after Apple’s wider price changes and follows earlier expectations from analysts that iPhone prices would eventually rise.
IDC senior research director Nabila Popal had previously said that iPhone would not be spared from higher prices. The latest shift in Indonesia suggests that prediction is now starting to play out in the market.
The increase is also not limited to the iPhone 16 family. Reports indicate that iPhone 17, iPhone 15, and iPhone Air prices in Indonesia have also gone up.
For buyers, the updated list makes the gap between regular, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max models more important to compare carefully. That difference becomes even more noticeable in higher storage options, where the price spread is now wider than before.
Anyone tracking Apple pricing in Indonesia will need to watch the revised figures closely before choosing a model. The new numbers as of July 6, 2026, mark a clear shift for the iPhone 16 series and its position in the local market.
