iPhone Prices Jump in Indonesia, Some Models Now Cost More Than Launch

Apple fans in Indonesia are facing a fresh round of price increases, and the impact is spreading across multiple iPhone generations at once. From the iPhone 15 series to the iPhone 17 lineup, the latest adjustments have pushed several models above their original launch prices in Indonesia.

The clearest example is the iPhone 16e 128 GB, which is now listed at Rp 12.749.000. That is higher than its late June 2026 price of Rp 10.749.000 and also above its original launch price in Indonesia of Rp 12.499.000.

Models seeing the sharpest increases

Price changes vary by model and storage option, but some jumps are significant enough to stand out immediately. The iPhone 15 128 GB now sells for Rp 14.499.000, up from Rp 12.249.020, while the 512 GB version has climbed to Rp 21.499.000 from Rp 14.454.020.

The iPhone Air series has also been adjusted across the board. The 256 GB model now costs Rp 21.249.000, compared with Rp 16.999.000 previously, showing how quickly the price gap has widened.

In the latest lineup, the iPhone 17 series has not escaped the changes either. KompasTekno noted that the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB each rose by around Rp 1.050.000, while the iPhone 17 Pro increased by about Rp 1 million across all memory options.

Why the gap matters for buyers

The price changes are not limited to the newest models, and that is what makes the market more complicated for buyers comparing options. Older generations such as the iPhone 15 are also affected, and some storage tiers now sit far apart in price from their lower-capacity counterparts.

That pattern is most visible in the Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Air families, where storage choices run as high as 1 TB and 2 TB. For shoppers tracking value, the latest list shows that waiting for the right reseller offer may matter just as much as choosing the right model.
