ROG Raikiri II Pro PC Pushes 8000Hz Input, ASUS Targets Competitive Gamers

Author: Qoo Media

ASUS Republic of Gamers has introduced the ROG Raikiri II Pro PC as a new controller aimed squarely at players who value precision, fast input, and deep customization. The device is positioned as a premium option for competitive gaming, where even small delays can matter.

Its headline feature is an 8000Hz polling rate, which ASUS says is designed to keep inputs moving into the system as quickly as possible. In wireless 2.4GHz mode, the controller also uses ROG SpeedNova technology to support responsiveness suited to competitive play.

Built for Faster Control

The controller uses micro switches on the D-Pad, ABXY buttons, and rear buttons. That setup is intended to deliver faster actuation together with a firmer tactile feel when buttons are pressed.

ASUS has also added Dual Mode Triggers that can be adjusted for different game genres. Users can switch between short-travel sensor, micro-switch, and TMR input behavior to change how the controls feel in play.

To help prevent cursor drift, ASUS uses a removable TMR joystick module with anti-drift support. The design is meant to keep input consistent while also helping to reduce power consumption.

Feature Detail
Polling rate 8000Hz
Wireless connection 2.4GHz with ROG SpeedNova
Joystick Removable TMR module, anti-drift
Battery life Up to 79 hours

More Ways to Customize the Feel

The retail package includes two joystick module sets, with a 120gf default version and an additional 50gf version. That difference gives users more room to tune the control feel to their own preferences.

Customization extends to four removable rear buttons and two extra claw bumpers. All of those inputs can be remapped to speed up access to complex commands in games.

A color display on the controller body makes device setup easier. Through that screen, users can adjust button mapping profiles, vibration intensity, stick calibration, lighting effects, and brightness levels.

ASUS also offers ASUS Gear Link software for more advanced settings. Inside it, a Turbo mode allows automatic button repetition for action and fighting genres.

Premium Package, Long Battery Claims

ASUS says the ROG Raikiri II Pro PC can last up to 79 hours in 2.4GHz wireless mode. That figure makes the controller more suitable for long gaming sessions without frequent charging stops.

To complete the premium positioning, ASUS includes a protective portable charging case and a dedicated charging dock. The box also contains four rear button caps, a module removal tool, and two extra stick caps.

Those accessories are intended to make the controller easier to adapt to different hand sizes and play styles. With its focus on precision, customization, and long battery life, the ROG Raikiri II Pro PC is clearly aimed at PC gamers who want more serious control.
