Lenovo ThinkVision E24q-30 Brings 1440p and 100Hz to a Monitor That Feels Built for More

Lenovo has added a new 23.8-inch option to its ThinkVision lineup, and the E24q-30 stands out because it looks far more capable than a typical office monitor. The combination of 1440p resolution and a 100Hz refresh rate gives it an unusual position in the everyday productivity segment.

For buyers who still see many work monitors capped at Full HD, the ThinkVision E24q-30 pushes harder with a 2560 x 1440 panel in a compact 23.8-inch size. Lenovo has also listed the model on JD.com in China with a price of 1,149 yuan.

Sharper Output, Smoother Motion

The monitor uses an IPS panel with a 123 PPI pixel density, 300 nits of typical brightness, and a 1300:1 contrast ratio. Those figures are aimed at users who want a clear display for work, media playback, and multitasking across several windows.

Key Specification ThinkVision E24q-30
Screen size 23.8 inches
Panel IPS
Resolution 2560 x 1440
Pixel density 123 PPI
Refresh rate 100Hz
Response time 4ms in fast mode
Brightness 300 nits
Contrast ratio 1300:1

It also supports a native 100Hz refresh rate, with a 4ms response time when fast mode is enabled. That makes scrolling and app switching feel more fluid, which is not something usually associated with entry-level office displays.

The thin bezels on three sides should help in multi-monitor setups, while Lenovo says the panel offers 8-bit color through a 6-bit panel with Frame Rate Control for up to 16.7 million colors.

Designed for Longer Sessions

Lenovo includes hardware-based low blue light support, which reduces blue light emissions without pushing the screen toward an overly warm tint. That is a different approach from many software filters that can noticeably alter the image.

The ThinkVision E24q-30 also uses DC dimming to reduce flicker and an anti-glare coating to limit reflections. Certification support includes TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort, and Eyesafe 2.0.

Color coverage reaches 99% sRGB, making the display suitable for web design, light photo editing, and general media use. Lenovo is positioning the monitor as a practical screen that still offers enough color accuracy for everyday visual work.

Flexible Enough for a Better Desk Setup

The bundled stand offers broad ergonomic adjustment. Height can be raised by up to 155 mm, tilt ranges from -5° to 22°, and the panel supports swivel movement.

It also supports 90-degree pivot rotation for vertical use, and the rear is compatible with both VESA 100 x 100 mm and 75 x 75 mm mounts. That opens the door to monitor arms and cleaner desktop arrangements.

Connectivity is straightforward, with one HDMI 2.0 port and one DisplayPort 1.2, both capable of driving 1440p at 100Hz. Lenovo also includes a Kensington lock slot and two 2W built-in speakers for basic audio needs.

Gizmochina reports that the ThinkVision E24q-30 is already available on JD.com, although current availability appears limited to the China market. With its sharper-than-usual panel, 100Hz refresh rate, and strong comfort features, the monitor is aimed at users who want more than a standard office screen without moving into premium territory.
