Oppo’s Enco Air5 and Enco Air5s take two very different routes to the same category. Both bring ANC, a 12 mm dynamic driver, and AI-powered features, but the real difference lies in how they are meant to be worn and used.
That contrast matters because the two models also sit in different price brackets in Indonesia. The Enco Air5 is priced at Rp899.000, while the Enco Air5s comes in at Rp1.299.000.
Two Designs, Two Priorities
The Enco Air5 uses an in-ear design with silicone ear tips, creating a tighter seal inside the ear canal. Oppo positions it as the better choice for people who regularly deal with noisy surroundings such as public transport or open offices.
Oppo says the Enco Air5 can deliver ANC of up to 52 dB with real-time adjustment. Each earbud weighs 4.3 grams, keeping it relatively light for its class.
| Model | Design | Weight | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oppo Enco Air5 | In-ear | 4.3 grams per earbud | Rp899.000 |
| Oppo Enco Air5s | Semi-in-ear | 3.9 grams per earbud | Rp1.299.000 |
The Enco Air5s, by contrast, is Oppo’s first semi-in-ear TWS with ANC. Its shape is closer to an earbud design without silicone tips, similar in concept to AirPods, and it is made for longer listening sessions with a lighter feel.
This model uses Real-time Adaptive ANC that adjusts to ear shape and wearing position. It also adds Slide Volume Control, allowing users to change volume with a simple finger swipe.
Shared Audio Features Across Both Models
Both earbuds use a new 12 mm dynamic driver aimed at deeper bass, clearer vocals, and richer instrument detail. Oppo also includes Alive Audio, which is designed to create a more immersive 3D sound effect for music, movies, and gaming.
For voice calls, both models carry AI Call Noise Reduction to filter background noise during conversations. They also support AI Translate for real-time cross-language communication through a press-and-hold gesture on the earbud.
gadget.viva.co.id notes that both TWS models also offer quick access to Google Gemini, Spotify, and transparency mode through touch gestures. They additionally support Bluetooth 6.x with Dual Connection Across Systems, so they can stay connected to two devices at once without manual switching.
Which One Makes More Sense
The Enco Air5 is the more practical option for users who want stronger noise isolation and a more sealed fit. Its in-ear structure gives it an edge in crowded environments where outside sound is harder to avoid.
The Enco Air5s is more appealing for users who prioritize long-wear comfort and a lighter semi-in-ear fit. The Slide Volume Control feature also gives it a convenience factor that the Enco Air5 does not offer.
Both models are available through the Oppo Store, Oppo Experience Store, official stores on Shopee Mall and Tokopedia Official Store, as well as retail partners such as Erafone and Digimap. Starting at Rp899.000, Oppo is clearly aiming this duo at the mid-range TWS segment with adaptive ANC, AI features, and hardware tuned for daily use.
