Caviar is targeting luxury-phone collectors with a Messi and Ronaldo series limited to 19 units for each edition worldwide. The collection combines portrait-based designs, 24-karat gold details, and the two football stars’ national symbols.
The Cristiano Ronaldo version starts at 11,410 US dollars, or about Rp204 million, for the 256 GB iPhone 17 Pro edition. The Lionel Messi model, based on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, starts at 13,130 US dollars, or about Rp235 million.

The range is called the Legends Collection and was introduced ahead of the end of the 2026 World Cup. Caviar selected the two players as they are expected to play their final tournament at that event.
Exterior Changes Rather Than New Hardware
The special editions focus on the exterior appearance rather than changes to the underlying phone hardware. According to tekno.kompas.com, specifications and features remain those of the original Samsung and Apple models.
This means the premium reflects the custom bodywork, gold treatment, limited production, and football theme. The devices are positioned as collector products rather than newly specified versions of the standard phones.
The Messi edition replaces the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra rear panel with an illustration of the Argentine player. It also includes his number 10 and several Argentine national symbols.
White and light blue form the dominant color scheme for the Messi model, matching the visual identity of Argentina’s national team kit. Its frame and decorative lines receive a 24-karat gold coating.
Ronaldo Edition Uses Portugal Colors
Caviar builds the Ronaldo edition on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The rear design features Ronaldo’s portrait, his number 7, and Portugal’s emblem.
A geometric background in red and green reflects the colors of Portugal’s flag. The frame and decorative accents are also coated in 24-karat gold.
Caviar uses cloisonné enamel for the Messi bodywork and applies the same technique to the Ronaldo edition. However, the two designs use different color compositions and visual elements.
Collector Box Included
Each Legends Collection unit comes in special packaging intended for collectors. The package includes a gold-plated key and an exclusive coin bearing the Caviar brand.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra used for the Messi edition is scheduled to debut on July 22. Caviar has also disclosed plans for an Erling Haaland-themed iPhone Ultra after Apple launches a new device in September.
