GPS, Speaker and Larger AMOLED Display Put Redmi Watch 6 Lite €10 Above Active

The leaked Redmi Watch 6 lineup presents an unusual price split: the Redmi Watch 6 Lite is expected to cost only €10 more than the Active model while adding several hardware features. The Lite variant is reportedly priced at €60 in the Eurozone, while the Redmi Watch 6 Active is expected at €50.

That small difference could make the Lite the more feature-focused option in the pair. It is said to include multi-system GPS, a 9-axis motion sensor, and a speaker, none of which are listed in the available details for the Active model.

Multi-system GPS is one of the clearest distinctions for users who want route tracking during outdoor exercise. The speaker and 9-axis motion sensor also give the Redmi Watch 6 Lite a broader reported hardware list.

Details about the practical use of the motion sensor have not been provided. The leak also does not specify the Bluetooth version used by the Lite model.

A Larger AMOLED Screen for Lite

The Redmi Watch 6 Lite is said to feature a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels. By comparison, the Redmi Watch 6 Active reportedly has a 1.85-inch AMOLED panel with a 390 x 450-pixel resolution.

The Lite’s screen is therefore both larger and higher in resolution based on the reported specifications. The Active remains the lower-priced model despite using a slightly smaller display.

Both devices are expected to carry a 470 mAh battery. No battery-life estimates have been disclosed, so it remains unclear how the larger screen and additional components may affect endurance.

Shared Fitness Tracking Features

The two watches are still expected to share their core fitness and health functions. Each is said to support more than 140 sports modes, heart-rate monitoring, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, and distance tracking.

These shared functions position both models as activity and basic health tracking devices. The choice between them may instead come down to display size, GPS capability, speaker availability, and price.

The Redmi Watch 6 Active is specifically listed with Bluetooth 5.3 support. Available leak details have not identified whether the Lite uses the same Bluetooth version.

Launch Details Remain Unconfirmed

According to GSMArena, the euro pricing suggests that Europe may be among the markets planned for the two smartwatches. There is still no confirmation of availability in other countries.

The models are expected to join the wider Redmi Watch 6 range. Images associated with the leak show square display designs, but Redmi has not announced a release date or official market availability.
