Xiaomi Launches HyperOS 3 Beta Globally: How to Join and Eligible Devices List

Xiaomi has officially opened global registration for the HyperOS 3 Beta program, allowing users worldwide early access to the pre-release version of HyperOS 3. This initiative enables selected testers to experience significant updates before the public launch, ensuring they get a firsthand look at new features and system improvements.

To join the Beta program, users need to register through the Xiaomi Community app available on the Google Play Store. By opening the app, finding the Beta recruitment announcement, and following the registration instructions, users can apply easily. The registration window is usually brief and coincides with the launch of major updates like HyperOS 3 or the transitional HyperOS 2.2 release.

According to reports from GizChina, over 1.2 million global users had installed the HyperOS 3 Beta by late September 2025. This figure is ten times Xiaomi’s initial goal, reflecting strong community interest in the update. Participants can test new features and enhancements while providing valuable feedback to improve system stability, compatibility, and performance ahead of the official rollout.

Unlike previous Development ROMs, the current Beta approach is more user-friendly. Xiaomi now allows testers to switch back to the stable version without losing any data. This change introduces a safer and smoother update process, encouraging more users to join and experiment with Beta builds.

Key Features of HyperOS 3

Internal testing reveals several technical improvements in HyperOS 3. App launch speed increases by up to 21%, CPU load is reduced by approximately 4%, and power efficiency improves by around 10%, according to 91mobiles. These enhancements contribute to faster, smoother, and more energy-efficient device performance.

On the user interface front, Xiaomi introduces an interactive feature named Super Island. This widget-like element provides quick access to notifications and controls, improving multitasking capabilities. Additionally, the system offers better memory management, enhanced data security, and AI optimizations to streamline operations.

Early Wave Devices Eligible for Beta

The first Beta wave covers key Xiaomi models as follows:

  1. Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 15 Ultra
  2. Redmi K80 Pro
  3. POCO F7 Ultra (global version)
  4. Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro

Xiaomi plans to expand Beta availability to more Redmi and POCO series devices by the end of 2025. However, some popular older models such as Redmi Note 11, POCO X4 GT, and Xiaomi 12 Lite will not receive the HyperOS 3 update, according to CincoDías (El País).

Accessing the Beta Update and Tools

Advanced users who prefer manual installation can download Beta firmware files from the official HyperOSUpdates.com website. Additionally, the MemeOS Enhancer app on Google Play offers advanced management tools and unlocks hidden features for those seeking a deeper customization experience.

Xiaomi’s open, community-driven Beta program underlines its dedication to delivering a more stable and user-responsive operating system. By engaging millions of users globally, the company gathers real-world feedback that helps fine-tune HyperOS 3, preparing it for a broader public release soon.
