DJI Neo 2 and Osmo Action 6 Officially Launched: Key Features and Technology Updates

DJI, in collaboration with Erajaya Active Lifestyle (ERAL), has officially launched two innovative devices: the DJI Neo 2 drone and the DJI Osmo Action 6 camera. These products represent significant upgrades from their predecessors, aiming to cater to a wide range of users from beginners to professional content creators. This launch reinforces DJI’s commitment to providing reliable, intuitive tools that enrich creative expression in Indonesia and beyond.

The DJI Neo 2 is a lightweight drone weighing just 151 grams. It features omni-directional obstacle sensing that enhances safety by detecting obstacles from all directions, making it suitable even for novice pilots. Neo 2 also introduces gesture controls such as Palm Take-off and Return-to-Palm, simplifying drone operation without requiring a dedicated landing zone. ActiveTrack technology now follows subjects in eight directions, ensuring smooth footage during activities like running or cycling. Users can capture selfies automatically with the upgraded Selfie Shot feature. Additionally, flexible control options include operating without a controller, using the RC-N3 remote, motion controller, or goggles. Video recording supports up to 4K resolution at 100 frames per second and vertical 2.7K format, ideal for social media content.

The DJI Osmo Action 6 stands out as the world’s first action camera featuring a variable aperture from f/2.0 to f/4.0. This innovation allows users to adapt easily to different lighting environments. Equipped with a 1/1.1-inch square CMOS sensor and a dynamic range of 13.5 stops, the camera excels in capturing richer details both in bright and low-light situations. The 4K Custom Mode lets users record once and crop footage tailored for multiple platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, enhancing workflow efficiency. For dramatic slow-motion scenes, the camera records up to 4K at 120 fps and offers a Super Slow Motion mode at 32x speed. Advanced RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady technologies maintain video stabilization even in rough conditions. True Colors underwater mode combined with IP68 water resistance up to 20 meters supports use during diving and swimming activities. The Osmo Action 6 also includes 50GB of internal storage and seamless connectivity with DJI Mic accessories.

Both devices strengthen DJI’s creative ecosystem in Indonesia by providing users more freedom to explore and tell their stories through versatile technology. Djohan Sutanto, CEO of Erajaya Active Lifestyle, emphasizes that the launch broadens creative access for all skill levels, encouraging users to “Dive the Moment” with ease and confidence. These products are now available through official retail outlets such as DJI Experience Store, Urban Republic, Erafone, and online via Eraspace.com.
