REDMI Turbo 5 Pro Certified and Ready to Launch with Powerful New Features

Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the REDMI Turbo 5 series, with key certifications recently cleared in China. A device bearing the model number 2602BRT18C has passed radio certification, signaling that the release is imminent and likely part of the REDMI Turbo 5 Pro variant.

The REDMI Turbo 5 series is expected to debut with two models: the standard Turbo 5 and the Turbo 5 Pro. The base model received approval back in October, while the Pro version just passed certification. Sources suggest Xiaomi aims for a launch window around January or February 2026, coinciding with the Chinese Spring Festival. Insider Digital Chat Station notes that the Turbo 5 Pro could be introduced just before the holiday.

The upcoming Turbo 5 Pro is rumored to feature aggressive upgrades over its predecessor. It will reportedly be powered by a flagship-class chipset optimized for high performance. Additionally, it is expected to house one of the largest batteries in its class, complemented by 100W fast charging capabilities.

Design-wise, the REDMI Turbo 5 Pro is said to adopt a metal frame, ultrasonically embedded 3D fingerprint sensor, full water resistance, and symmetrical stereo speakers. Its aesthetic will follow a clean, minimalist approach, consistent with Redmi’s latest design language.

For context, the previous generation Turbo 4 Pro was the first smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It sported a 6.83-inch flat 1.5K resolution display and a dual rear camera setup of 50MP and 8MP. It supported 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging, establishing itself as a high-performance device at a competitive price.

The REDMI Turbo 5 Pro promises significant enhancements in performance, battery life, and premium features compared to the Turbo 4 Pro. More official details are expected to surface in the coming weeks as Xiaomi approaches the final launch phase.
