Oppo Reno 15 Launches Fresh Starry Pink Shade for Stylish New Look

Oppo has expanded its Reno 15 lineup by introducing a new color variant called Starry Pink. This fresh option will be available in China starting December 31, 2025, with pre-orders already open.

Starry Pink is the fourth color release following Starlight Bow, Canele Brown, and Aurora Blue, which launched in November 2025. Oppo highlights that the new finish uses an industry-first grating starburst process on the rear panel.

This technique produces a shimmering effect resembling twinkling stars that shift when the phone is tilted. The back panel also features a textured metal frame and high-gloss ice-clear glass for a premium look.

Despite the new aesthetics, the Starry Pink model keeps all the original specifications intact. Consumers enjoy the same high-performance features under an appealing new design.

Design and Display
The Oppo Reno 15 sports a flat 6.32-inch OLED screen with a sharp 1.5K resolution of 2640 × 1216 pixels. It supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a responsive 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The display can reach a peak local brightness of 3600 nits, making it visible even under direct sunlight. Eye comfort is enhanced by a 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming technology, and protection is provided by OPPO’s Crystal Shield Glass to prevent scratches.

Performance and Memory
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 octa-core processor built on a 4nm process, clocked up to 3.25GHz. Graphics rendering is managed by the Mali-G720 MC7 GPU at 1300MHz.

Memory configurations range from 12GB to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, paired with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB using UFS 3.1 technology. The phone runs Android 16 paired with ColorOS 16, offering a smooth and updated user experience.

Camera Capabilities
Photography is a strong suit for the Reno 15, featuring a 200MP main sensor with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size, f/1.8 aperture, and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

It includes a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 112-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens provides 3.5x zoom, OIS, and an f/2.8 aperture.

All rear cameras support 4K video recording at 60fps. The 50MP front camera also offers 4K capture at 60fps, perfect for selfies and video calls.

Additional Features and Connectivity
Security is handled by an under-display fingerprint sensor. The phone also features an infrared sensor for remote control functions and stereo speakers. Audio output is via USB Type-C.

The device has IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications, guaranteeing dust and water resistance, enhancing durability.

Connectivity options are comprehensive, including 5G support in SA and NSA modes, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and various satellite navigation systems like Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. USB Type-C 2.0 is used for charging and data transfer.

Battery and Charging
Oppo Reno 15 carries a large 6200mAh battery supported by 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. This combo promises extended usage and quick recharging times, a feature also found in the more affordable Reno 15c model.

The introduction of the Starry Pink color reflects Oppo’s strategy to refresh product lines mid-cycle. This approach aims to sustain sales momentum and attract style-focused buyers, following precedents set in previous Reno 15 series launches.

Though this Starry Pink variant currently targets the Chinese market, its global release remains uncertain. It may serve as a trial to gauge consumer response before wider distribution. Oppo continues to leverage strong technical foundations while enhancing aesthetic choices to meet diverse user preferences.
