Discover Samsung’s Latest Q-Series Soundbar and Advanced WiFi Music Studio Unveils at Tech Expo

Samsung is set to unveil its latest audio innovations at CES 2026, including an upgraded Soundbar Q-Series and brand-new Wi-Fi Music Studio speakers. These products aim to deliver immersive sound experiences and seamless multi-device performance across the modern smart home.

The announcement came ahead of the CES event in Las Vegas, scheduled for January 6-9, 2026, with a special preview during Samsung’s “The First Look” event on January 4. This launch highlights Samsung’s commitment to integrating spatial audio technology and cross-device connectivity in its 2026 audio lineup.

Soundbar Q-Series: Next-Level Home Theater Audio

The 2026 Q-Series soundbars redefine cinematic sound for contemporary households. Samsung’s flagship model, the HW-Q990H, features an advanced 11.1.4-channel setup. It combines a main 7.0.2-bar with 4.0.2 rear speakers and a compact active subwoofer equipped with dual 8-inch drivers, offering powerful bass without occupying much space.

A key innovation in the HW-Q990H is the “Sound Elevation” feature. It projects dialogue to seem as though it’s emanating directly from the center of the screen, solving the common issue of sound coming from the lower-mounted bar. The device also supports “Auto Volume,” ensuring consistent audio levels across different channels and content types. Up-firing speakers and next-gen AI tuning expand the soundstage, creating scale comparable to professional home theater systems.

Samsung also introduces the HW-QS90H, a 7.1.2-channel all-in-one soundbar that forgoes a separate subwoofer by incorporating a Quad Bass Woofer. Its “Convertible Fit” design supports both wall mounting and tabletop placement, with an internal gyroscope sensor adapting the audio profile based on orientation.

Wi-Fi Music Studio Speakers: Stylish and High-Fidelity

Expanding its standalone speaker offerings, Samsung presents the Music Studio 7 (LS70H) and Music Studio 5 (LS50H). Both models fuse aesthetics with performance, featuring the timeless “dot concept” design by acclaimed French designer Erwan Bouroullec.

The Music Studio 7 delivers 3.1.1-channel spatial audio with top-firing speakers and supports Hi-Res Audio playback at up to 24-bit/96kHz. It includes a dedicated super tweeter capable of reproducing frequencies up to 35 kHz. Meanwhile, the more compact Music Studio 5 offers a 2.1-channel system with dual tweeters and a 4-inch woofer, enhanced by AI-powered dynamic bass control for deeper low-end presence.

Both speakers support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling wireless streaming and control through the SmartThings app. Samsung confirms these devices have undergone fine-tuning at its in-house Audio Lab to ensure balanced sound reproduction.

Enhanced Q-Symphony Ecosystem for Immersive Multi-Device Audio

The 2026 audio lineup leverages an improved Q-Symphony system, creating a cohesive sound ecosystem with Samsung-compatible TVs, soundbars, and Wi-Fi speakers. Users can sync up to five audio devices to one TV, enabling sophisticated sound layering and synchronized performance.

This upgraded technology analyzes room layout and device placement to optimize channel distribution. It enhances dialogue clarity and delivers detailed surround sound, rivaling traditional wired setups without the clutter of cables. Through Wi-Fi and the SmartThings app, users gain centralized control over audio settings, group playback, music streaming, and voice assistant functions via an intuitive interface.

Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, emphasized Samsung’s legacy: “For over a decade, Samsung has led home audio evolution through advanced acoustics, intelligent features, and thoughtful design. We continue that legacy with next-generation audio devices delivering rich, expressive performance for every space and moment.”

Samsung’s dominance in the global soundbar market spans 11 consecutive years, and the 2026 product range underscores the company’s ongoing dedication to audio innovation and quality.
