Xiaomi has recently addressed a significant batch of bugs in its HyperOS platform, highlighting its ongoing commitment to improving user experience. The company announced that it fixed 11 bugs in one update cycle, putting special emphasis on resolving battery and camera issues reported by Redmi Note 14 users.
A major concern among Redmi Note 14 and Redmi Note 14 Pro owners has been the device shutting off suddenly when the battery appears to still have a charge. This problem is tied to inaccurate battery percentage readings, which mislead users into thinking the phone has enough power when it actually doesn’t. The issue has been linked to HyperOS versions 3.0.4.0.WOGMIXM and 3.0.3.0.WOFMIXM.
Xiaomi rolled out a trial update to selected users to test a fix for this problem. Feedback remains mixed as some users experienced improvements, while others continued facing unexpected shutdowns. Meanwhile, the manufacturer advised a temporary workaround: fully draining the battery before charging it to 100%. This process reportedly helps recalibrate battery reporting but isn’t a long-term solution.
Beyond battery concerns, issues with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G camera in Uzbekistan caught Xiaomi’s attention. Users reported the rear camera vibrating and making unusual noises while in use, linked to OS build 2.0.209.0.VNOMIXM. Xiaomi is still investigating the root cause of this malfunction and has requested further diagnostic data from affected users to accelerate troubleshooting.
The 11 bug fixes cover a wide range of enhancements to connectivity, performance, and hardware functionality. Key resolved items include:
1. Redmi Pad 2 4G now supports normal call functions between tablet and phone.
2. Network service problems on Redmi 14C 5G have been eliminated.
3. POCO X7 Pro users regained stable internet access via mobile data.
4. Messenger app crashes on Xiaomi Pad 7 have been fixed.
5. Weather app on Xiaomi 15T Pro now refreshes data properly.
6. Application freezing issues in Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G were resolved.
7. Camera lag on POCO X7 Pro has been significantly reduced.
8. Screen color accuracy was improved on POCO F8 Pro.
9. NFC functionality on Redmi Note 14 Pro is restored.
10. Wired charging issues affecting Redmi Note 14 5G and POCO M7 Pro 5G were repaired.
11. Automatic shutdowns on Redmi Note 14 Pro ceased following the update.
Xiaomi’s transparent approach to publishing weekly HyperOS bug reports allows users to track the company’s progress clearly. This practice reinforces Xiaomi’s dedication to listening to customer feedback and actively improving device stability and performance.
Users are encouraged to keep their devices updated with the latest system versions to benefit from these enhancements. Moreover, Xiaomi invites those facing lingering problems to submit detailed feedback through the built-in reporting tools to aid faster resolution.
This comprehensive update reflects Xiaomi’s determination to maintain HyperOS’s reliability across its product lineup. While some challenges remain under observation, these bug fixes signal positive momentum for Redmi Note 14 users and the wider Xiaomi community.
