AnTuTu has released its December 2025 Android device performance rankings, highlighting intense competition in flagship chipsets. The data, exclusively collected from the Chinese market during December, reflects average benchmark scores from devices with over 1,000 valid tests.
Qualcomm and MediaTek continue to dominate the performance charts across different market segments. However, the flagship segment is clearly led by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Flagship Performance Leaders
The Red Magic 11 Pro+ claimed the top spot among flagship smartphones with an outstanding average score of 4,118,828 points. Its design focuses heavily on gaming, featuring aggressive GPU configurations, active air cooling, and liquid cooling systems. These features maintain stable high performance during prolonged heavy use.
In second place is the iQOO 15, also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This device includes a custom e-sports Q3 chip, which enables gaming enhancements such as super-resolution, frame interpolation, and limited ray tracing for supported titles.
OnePlus 15 rounds out the top three with an average score of 4,073,184 points. It balances high performance with strong camera quality and power efficiency. Its standout feature is a 165Hz display combined with the Fengchi Gaming Kernel, which optimizes high refresh rates for smoother gameplay.
MediaTek Dominates Mid-Range Segment
In the mid-range category, MediaTek’s Dimensity series clearly outperforms competitors. Oppo’s Reno15 Pro and Reno15, both equipped with the Dimensity 8450, topped the rankings with scores exceeding 2.13 million points. These smartphones represent the fastest options available in their segment.
Following closely is the Realme Neo7 SE with the Dimensity 8400-Max chipset, consolidating MediaTek’s dominance as the leader in mid-range performance as 2025 closes.
Tablet Performance Rankings
AnTuTu also ranked Android tablets for December 2025. The Honor MagicPad 3 Pro 13.3 leads with an impressive 4,033,256 points, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This score underscores the chipset’s versatility beyond smartphones into premium tablets.
Oppo Pad 4 Pro and OnePlus Pad 2 Pro secured the second and third positions respectively, both delivering flagship-level performance for productivity and entertainment on large screens.
Insights and Market Trends
The December rankings emphasize that Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 currently sets the peak benchmark for Android flagship and premium tablet performance. Meanwhile, MediaTek’s Dimensity lineup continues to strengthen its position in the mid-range segment with highly competitive performance-to-price ratios.
These developments suggest that early 2026 will be marked by fierce rivalry not only in raw processing power but also in optimizing user experience. Device makers are likely to push innovations in cooling solutions, gaming capabilities, and energy efficiency to appeal to both high-end users and mainstream consumers.
Overall, the AnTuTu December 2025 performance list provides valuable insights into chipset trends. Qualcomm leads the premium space with specialized gaming enhancements, while MediaTek’s mid-range offerings deliver robust performance at affordability, shaping the competitive landscape for the year ahead.
