Huawei has officially launched the new Band 11 Series, expanding its lineup of wearable devices. Alongside this release, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5, initially introduced in China, is now available globally.
The Huawei Band 11 Series includes two models: Band 11 and Band 11 Pro. Both feature a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with a 286 × 482 pixel resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The displays are equipped with Always-On Display (AOD) technology for continuous information visibility.
The Band 11 Pro differs with a slightly curved screen and a more rugged casing design. It can reach peak brightness up to 2,000 nits, compared to 1,500 nits on the standard Band 11. This makes the Pro version more visible under bright outdoor lighting conditions.
Both variants are built with aluminum alloy cases and carry a 5 ATM water resistance rating. This enables users to wear them safely while swimming or engaging in water activities without worry. The Band 11 weighs 17 grams without the strap, while the Pro model is 18 grams, maintaining a lightweight profile.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 6.0 support for seamless wireless pairing. Battery life extends up to 14 days under light usage and about 8 days with regular activities. The Band 11 Pro is equipped with built-in GNSS, allowing for accurate running tracking without needing a smartphone nearby.
Huawei emphasizes health and fitness monitoring on the Band 11 series. Users can benefit from over 100 exercise modes, detailed heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring (SpO2), heart rate variability (HRV) analysis, sleep quality assessment, and stress level measurement.
Color options for the Band 11 include Beige, Green, Purple, White, and Black. This model is priced around €45 or approximately $48 USD. The Band 11 Pro comes in Green, Blue, and Black, retailing for about €60 or $64 USD. Both will be available starting March 6.
In parallel with the Band 11 launch, Huawei announced the global release of the FreeBuds Pro 5. These flagship true wireless earbuds debuted in China last November and now reach international markets.
FreeBuds Pro 5 impresses with a dual-driver setup combining an 11mm dynamic driver and a micro-planar tweeter. This delivers a rich and detailed sound experience. At the core is the Kirin A3 chip, which enhances the adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) capabilities.
Supporting Bluetooth 6.0, FreeBuds Pro 5 offers a wide range of audio codecs including AAC, SBC, LDAC, and L2HC. The latter enables high-speed transmission of up to 2.3 Mbps on compatible Huawei devices, ensuring superior audio quality. Dual-device pairing and touch controls provide versatile user interaction.
Durability is addressed with IP57 certification for the earbuds, making them resistant to dust and water immersion. The charging case bears an IP54 rating, providing protection against splashes. Battery life extends to about 8 hours of playback without ANC and up to 33 hours combined with the charging case.
Available colors are Sand Gold, Black, White, and Dark Blue. The retail price is €199, roughly $210 USD. Huawei offers a €30 (approximately $32) discount and free one-year Huawei Loss Care protection for purchases made through official channels before April 4.
Additionally, Huawei revealed a new Green Edition of the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2. This premium smartwatch is priced at €900 or about $950 USD and will be released by the end of March.
