Vivo has introduced the T5 Pro 5G in India as a mid-range phone built around one clear priority: long battery life without a bulky body. The device pairs a 9,020 mAh battery with an 8.25 mm profile and a 213-gram weight, positioning it as a practical option for users who want endurance without sacrificing in-hand comfort.
That approach also makes the T5 Pro 5G relevant for heavy daily use, including gaming, video streaming, and work. Vivo has combined the large battery with fast charging and several power-management features to keep the phone useful through long sessions.
Battery capacity takes center stage
The biggest headline specification is the 9,020 mAh battery, a capacity that is uncommon in the mid-range segment. Vivo backs it with 90-watt fast charging through the included adapter, allowing the phone to reach 50 percent from empty in 37 minutes, according to the company.
The phone also supports reverse charging, so it can be used to top up other devices. In addition, bypass charging is available, which lets power go directly to the system while the phone is being used and charged at the same time.
Hardware aimed at sustained performance
Under the hood, Vivo uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 for the T5 Pro 5G. The chipset is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, creating a setup designed for multitasking and gaming in the mid-range class.
To help manage heat during heavier workloads, Vivo includes a 7,000 mm² vapor chamber. The company also highlights gaming-oriented features such as independent antennas, Ultra Game Mode, and Game 4D vibration, all intended to support smoother connectivity and more responsive gameplay.
Vivo says the phone can sustain performance in games running at 120 FPS. That claim positions the device as more than just a large-battery handset, especially for users who care about consistent performance over long sessions.
Display and multimedia use
The front of the phone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It has a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels, HDR10 Plus support, and a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits.
Those specifications suggest a screen built for smooth scrolling, easier app switching, and gaming, while also improving visibility outdoors. Combined with the large battery, the display makes the T5 Pro 5G suitable for extended media consumption throughout the day.
Camera setup and durability features
Vivo equips the rear with a 50 MP main camera using the Sony IMX882 sensor and optical image stabilization. It is joined by a 2 MP secondary camera for bokeh effects, while the front camera uses a 32 MP sensor.
Both the front and rear cameras support video recording up to 4K. The phone also comes with dual stereo speakers, IP68 and IP69 certification, and a display that remains responsive even when hands are wet or oily.
Colors, variants, and pricing
The Vivo T5 Pro 5G is available in Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black. Memory options include 8 GB/128 GB, 8 GB/256 GB, and 12 GB/256 GB, with pricing in India starting at 29,999 rupee for the base model.
