Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G Bring Offline AI Notes, Smarter On-Screen Search

Samsung’s Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G arrive in Indonesia with a clear message: AI is being positioned as a practical tool for everyday use, not just a marketing highlight. The two phones are aimed at younger users who switch between apps often, create content regularly, and want faster ways to search, edit, and capture information on screen.

One of the most notable additions is Voice Transcription, a feature Samsung says arrives first in the Galaxy A Series. It can record speech, turn it into text, and translate it into various languages without an internet connection, making it useful for classes, meetings, and language study. For users who need to capture key points quickly, the offline capability removes the need for manual typing and reduces dependence on network access.

AI features built for everyday tasks

Samsung also updates Circle to Search with Google so it can do more than simple visual lookup. By circling an object on the screen, users can search for information in a faster and more direct way, including details about outfits and accessories.

Another helpful tool is AI Select, which is designed to speed up saving content or creating GIFs. The feature reduces the number of steps usually needed when sharing material or turning screen content into something more usable.

For people who juggle several apps at once, Multi-Window Drag & Drop adds another layer of convenience. It allows content to move more easily between apps, which can make both work and entertainment sessions feel smoother.

Editing and camera tools for content-heavy users

Samsung also includes Object Eraser, which removes distracting objects from photos. The result is cleaner-looking images that are easier to post on social media without extra editing steps.

On the imaging side, both devices use a triple camera setup. Galaxy A57 5G comes with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, while both models carry a 5MP macro camera for close-up detail.

Nightography is also improved, aiming to keep photos and videos bright, sharp, and lower in noise in low-light conditions. That matters for users who often record city lights, evening hangouts, or food content after dark.

Design and display refinements

Galaxy A57 5G is built with a thinner and lighter body. At 6.9 mm thick and 179 grams, it is designed to feel more comfortable in the hand and easier to carry.

The display is also described as more immersive thanks to slimmer bezels. That wider look can make streaming, gaming, and social media browsing feel more comfortable on the eyes.

Samsung offers different color selections for each model. Galaxy A57 5G comes in Awesome Navy, Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while Galaxy A37 5G is available in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, and Awesome White.

Galaxy A57 5G also uses a metal frame, which adds a more premium feel while supporting durability. In the midrange segment, that kind of finish can be a meaningful draw for users looking for a phone that combines style and function.

Performance, battery life, and launch offers

Samsung says Galaxy A57 5G brings upgrades to the CPU, GPU, and NPU, making the device faster and more responsive for gaming, streaming, and editing. A larger vapor chamber is included to help keep temperatures stable during heavy use.

Battery life is another key point, with the 5,000mAh battery claimed to last up to two days. Charging is supported by Super Fast Charging 2.0, which can bring the battery to 60% in around 30 minutes.

Samsung is also pairing the launch with a promotional program running until 30 April 2026. The offers include cashback worth up to hundreds of thousands of rupiah, trade-in deals with competitive pricing, 0% installments with no down payment, and Galaxy Wearables bundles.

Galaxy A57 5G is said to deliver benefits worth up to Rp5.3 million, while Galaxy A37 5G is priced starting from around Rp6 million.
