Oppo Find X9 Ultra Debuts With 200MP Periscope Zoom And 7,050mAh Battery

Oppo has expanded its Find X9 family with the Find X9 Ultra, a model that immediately stands out for its 200MP periscope telephoto camera and long-range zoom ambitions. Positioned as the top-end variant in the lineup, the phone is aimed squarely at users who want a flagship device built around imaging power.

The device first appeared in China alongside the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, while broader availability remains only partly outlined. Oppo has already confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will arrive in India in May.

A camera system built for distance and detail

The rear camera setup is the main attraction here, and Oppo has designed it to handle both versatility and reach. The phone carries a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 200MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-telephoto camera.

That combination is paired with a dedicated color reproduction lens, which Oppo says helps improve accuracy across different shooting conditions. On the front, the phone includes a 50MP selfie camera, keeping the specification sheet in line with its premium positioning.

Zoom is another major part of the story. The Find X9 Ultra supports up to 10x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom, making it one of the most aggressively specified camera phones in the series.

Video tools and imaging features

Oppo is also pushing the phone as a serious video device. It supports 8K recording at 30fps and 4K recording at up to 120fps, with Dolby Vision support included.

The company has further equipped the phone with Hasselblad imaging, XPAN mode, and professional video tools. These additions suggest that Oppo is focusing not only on sensor size and zoom range, but also on workflow and image consistency.

Large display and top-tier hardware

Beyond photography, the Find X9 Ultra uses a 6.82-inch flexible AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution of 1,440 x 3,168 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and peak brightness up to 1,800 nits.

Performance is handled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. Memory options go up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, while storage reaches as high as 1TB using UFS 4.1.

The phone runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. That setup places the device in the category of high-end handsets designed for heavy multitasking, gaming, and media consumption.

Battery, connectivity, and security

Power delivery is another notable part of the package. Oppo has fitted the Find X9 Ultra with a 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery, supported by 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and USB Type-C. Some variants also support Tiantong satellite communication and Beidou satellite messaging.

For security, Oppo uses an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The body measures around 163.16 x 76.97 x 8.65 mm and weighs about 235 grams, depending on the color variant.

China pricing and available configurations

In China, the Find X9 Ultra is offered in several memory and storage combinations. The listed prices are:
