OnePlus Watch 4 is now showing up on the company’s official site, and the listing confirms that the focus is not on a radical redesign. Instead, the watch leans on a lighter titanium build, a brighter display, and Wear OS 6 as the most notable upgrades over the previous model.
That combination gives the smartwatch a more premium position without moving too far away from the direction established by OnePlus Watch 3. For users looking at practical improvements rather than a dramatic redesign, the newest model brings several refinements that stand out immediately.
Titanium takes the lead
The clearest hardware change is the move to a full titanium case, replacing the stainless steel body used on the previous generation. This switch helps reduce weight while still preserving a solid and durable feel, which matters for a smartwatch with a large display.
OnePlus Watch 4 comes in two color options: Evergreen Titanium and Midnight Titanium. The first pairs a silver-toned body with a green strap, while the second uses a darker finish with a gray strap.
In terms of size, the watch measures 47.4 x 47.4 x 11 mm. It weighs 43 grams without the strap and 68 grams with it attached, keeping the device relatively balanced despite its large footprint.
Display and durability receive attention
The watch is built to meet MIL-STD-810H military durability standards. OnePlus also says it supports touch use with wet hands and offers resistance to seawater corrosion, which broadens its usefulness in demanding environments.
Protection for the screen comes from sapphire glass, while the panel itself is an LTPO OLED display with a 466 x 466 resolution. Peak brightness reaches up to 3,000 nits, making the screen more visible under strong outdoor light.
Those specifications matter because the device is clearly intended for daily wear, exercise, and outdoor use. A brighter panel and stronger protection should help the watch remain easy to read and more resilient in active conditions.
Wear OS 6 becomes the main software update
On the software side, the watch runs Wear OS 6 together with OxygenOS Watch 8. Among all the changes listed, this is the most important one because it affects the overall user experience more than the physical redesign does.
The source material describes the update from OnePlus Watch 3 to Watch 4 as fairly modest, but Wear OS 6 still gives the new model a stronger software foundation. OnePlus also adds NFC support for Google Wallet payments, expanding the watch’s everyday utility beyond fitness functions.
Performance, memory, and battery
Inside the watch, OnePlus uses the Snapdragon Wear W5 paired with a BES2800 low-power chip. This setup is meant to keep the system efficient when power-hungry features are not in use.
Memory configuration includes 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. That places the device firmly in the premium smartwatch category and gives it enough room for apps, data, and general system responsiveness.
Battery capacity stands at 646 mAh. OnePlus claims up to 16 days of battery life in power-saving mode and up to five days in smart mode, while charging at 7.5W takes around 75 minutes from empty to full.
Health, sports, and navigation tools
For fitness tracking, OnePlus Watch 4 includes more than 100 workout modes. Six of those activities support automatic detection, reducing the need for manual input during everyday use.
The sensor package is broad and includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate sensor, blood oxygen sensor, wrist temperature sensor, geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, and barometric sensor. That selection shows a strong emphasis on both activity tracking and general health monitoring.
Connectivity is also comprehensive, with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual-band GPS. The navigation system adds support for Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, and QZSS, giving the watch multiple positioning options.
The device also carries 5ATM, IP68, and IP69 ratings, reinforcing its suitability for water exposure, dust resistance, and more challenging daily conditions. Based on the available information, OnePlus Watch 4 is essentially a rebranded Oppo Watch X3 for the Chinese market, with the most visible changes centered on titanium construction, a thinner body, a brighter screen, and a battery that is 2 mAh smaller than before.
