Tecno has introduced the Pop X 5G in India as a budget-friendly 5G option that tries to stand out through design as much as hardware. The phone enters a crowded entry-level segment with a horizontal camera module that gives its rear side a visor-like look, a detail that immediately separates it from many low-cost rivals.
The device is also positioned with a fairly complete set of everyday features. Tecno pairs the design-focused back panel with a large display, a big battery, fast charging support, and a software package that keeps the phone aligned with current entry-level expectations.
A visor-style rear design with a more premium touch
The most visible element of the Pop X 5G is its rear camera layout. Tecno uses a pill-shaped horizontal module that stretches across the back and creates a visor-like appearance similar to designs seen on some higher-end phones.
The back panel also uses aerospace-grade aluminum, which adds to the more polished feel of the device. Inside that module, Tecno places a 13 MP main camera together with an LED flash, keeping the setup simple while still giving the phone a distinct look.

For performance, Tecno equips the Pop X 5G with the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. The phone is offered with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, while internal storage is set at 128 GB.
A microSD slot is also included, giving users the option to expand storage if the built-in capacity is not enough. This configuration places the device firmly in the category of phones aimed at basic use and routine daily tasks rather than heavy workloads.

Battery life is one of the strongest elements in the Pop X 5G package. Tecno fits the phone with a 6,500 mAh battery, a size that should help support longer use across everyday activities.

In India, the Tecno Pop X 5G is priced at 15,999 rupee for the 4/128 GB model. The 6/128 GB version is listed at 17,999 rupee, placing the phone directly in the affordable 5G segment.
Tecno has not announced any launch schedule or availability for Indonesia, so there is still no official confirmation about whether the Pop X 5G will reach that market. For now, the phone remains a new India-focused entry that combines a distinctive visor-style design with large battery capacity and a practical set of features.
