Motorola’s Edge 70 Fusion Brings 7,000 mAh Power And Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 To Indonesia

Motorola has officially brought the Edge 70 Fusion to Indonesia, placing it as the successor to the Edge 60 Fusion in the mid-range segment. The Indonesian version stands out most because Motorola equips it with a 7,000 mAh battery and a newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, making it different from the global model and more tailored to local market expectations.

The launch was announced through Motorola Indonesia’s official Instagram account. With a large battery, a high-end display specification, and stronger body protection, the phone is clearly positioned for users who need a versatile device for demanding daily use.

Battery life becomes the main selling point

The most striking change in the Indonesian variant is the 7,000 mAh battery. That capacity is significantly larger than the global version’s 5,200 mAh, giving the local model a clear advantage in endurance.

Motorola claims the battery can support normal use for up to 50 hours on a single charge. The phone also supports 68W fast charging, which the company says can add 12 hours of use with just 10 minutes of charging.

For users with busy routines, this combination makes the Edge 70 Fusion especially relevant. It is designed for people who prefer not to depend on a charger too often throughout the day.

Performance gets a local upgrade

Motorola also made a notable change on the performance side. While the global version uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, the Indonesian model switches to Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with speeds of up to 2.7 GHz.

That adjustment shows Motorola is not relying on battery capacity alone to attract buyers. The device also comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which should help with multitasking and provide ample room for apps, photos, and other files.

Large AMOLED display with fast refresh rate

On the front, the Edge 70 Fusion carries a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,772 x 1,272 pixels. The display supports a 144 Hz refresh rate, which helps deliver smoother scrolling and more fluid motion during gaming or video playback.

The screen also reaches a peak brightness of up to 5,200 nits. Motorola adds Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on top for extra protection, giving the device a more durable front surface.

Camera setup stays practical and balanced

For imaging, Motorola uses a 50 MP Sony Lytia 710 main sensor as the primary camera. The rear setup is completed by a 13 MP ultrawide camera, while the front houses a 32 MP selfie camera with Quad Pixel technology.

This configuration gives the Edge 70 Fusion flexibility for everyday photography and self-portraits. The camera system keeps the device competitive in the mid-range category without shifting focus away from its battery-first identity.

Built to feel more durable

Motorola backs the phone with IP68/IP69 certification for resistance to water and dust. It also carries the US MIL-STD-810H military standard, adding another layer of toughness to the design.

The company further differentiates the device with a fabric-textured body. In Indonesia, the Edge 70 Fusion is offered in Sporting Green, Silhouette, and Orient Blue.

Software and connectivity

The phone ships with Android 16 out of the box. Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity.

Motorola will sell the Indonesian version in a single 8 GB/256 GB configuration. The device is set to go on sale on 24 April 2026 through marketplace partners at a price of Rp 6.499.000.
