Honor Confirms Indonesia Commitment, Two New Devices Planned for Q2 2026

Honor has confirmed that it is still operating in Indonesia and is preparing two new products for release in Q2 2026. The company’s latest update also aims to clear up speculation about whether its business direction in the country had changed.

According to Honor Indonesia Head of Public Relations Aryo Meidianto Aji, the company is not leaving the market. Instead, Honor is focusing on long-term preparation, with attention centered on product readiness, customer service, and after-sales support.

Building the business foundation first

Honor said its limited public activity in recent periods should not be interpreted as a pause in business. The quieter phase is described as part of internal preparation so future launches can be handled more carefully.

That approach reflects a priority on product quality and the service ecosystem around it. As competition in the technology sector becomes tighter, consumers are paying more attention to what happens after purchase, not only to the device itself.

For that reason, Honor is placing user trust at the center of its strategy. The company is strengthening its business base first before broadening its product portfolio in Indonesia.

Two new devices are already being prepared

One of the products scheduled for release is the Honor Pad X8b. The tablet is being positioned for families and children, with features intended to support safer and more controlled use.

Honor Pad X8b comes with an operating system described as free from ads. It also includes Kids Mode, which allows parents to manage content access and limit how long children can use the tablet.

The second device has also been planned for launch, but Honor has not yet disclosed its category or specifications. The company only said it is targeting a release toward the end of Q2 2026.

Current smartphones still support the line-up

While preparing new products, Honor is still relying on two smartphones already available in the market: Honor X6c and Honor X7d. Both are aimed at users who need durable phones for everyday activity.

Impact resistance and protection against water splashes are the key selling points of those two models. This shows that Honor is still using practical, daily-use needs as the starting point for its current push in Indonesia.
