A tablet built around screen quality and sound
The strongest appeal of Asus Pad appears to be its display. The leaked information describes a dual-layer OLED panel measuring 12.2 inches, paired with a 144 Hz refresh rate that should help deliver smoother motion while scrolling, gaming, or watching videos.
Asus is also said to include Dolby-based enhancement support on the device. Combined with stereo speakers featuring Dolby Atmos, the tablet looks positioned to prioritize a more immersive viewing and listening experience.
That combination suggests Asus is not simply preparing another general-purpose tablet. The available information points to a product that leans heavily toward multimedia use, whether for streaming content, casual entertainment, or everyday home use.
Simple design with a premium finish
Leaked renders show a tablet with slim, symmetrical bezels and a clean rear panel. The body uses a metal frame with slightly curved edges, while the back surface stays flat and minimal in appearance.
