A new leak has put the iQOO 15T in the spotlight for one simple reason: it appears built to last longer and push harder than many of its rivals. The combination of an 8,000mAh battery, a 144Hz display, and the Dimensity 9500 positions it as a serious contender in China’s crowded high-performance phone market.
The timing also adds weight to the rumor, with the device expected to arrive this month. That makes every new detail more relevant, especially because the iQOO 15T is said to be heading into the same competitive space as the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra and Redmi K90 Max.
A flagship aimed at endurance and speed
The most attention-grabbing part of the leak is the battery capacity. At 8,000mAh, the iQOO 15T would sit well above what is usually seen in flagship phones and immediately separate itself from many direct rivals.
That large battery is paired with 100W wired charging, which should help keep charging times under control. Wireless charging is reportedly not included, suggesting iQOO may be prioritizing battery size and internal space efficiency over that convenience feature.
Display details point to a premium focus
On the front, the phone is said to use a 6.82-inch AMOLED panel with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Those numbers suggest a device designed not only for power users, but also for smooth gaming and media consumption.
A screen this large also gives the phone a more premium presence. Combined with the AMOLED panel and 2K resolution, it should deliver a sharp and fluid viewing experience that matches the rest of the hardware ambitions.
Dimensity 9500 leads the performance package
Under the hood, the iQOO 15T is tipped to run on the Dimensity 9500 chipset. That choice places the phone in the same performance tier as several major domestic rivals and reinforces its flagship positioning.
The leak suggests iQOO is not simply chasing a big battery number. Instead, the company appears to be building a phone that pairs endurance with top-end performance for gaming, multimedia, and heavy daily use.
Camera and build details add to the premium positioning
The main camera is said to be a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 sensor. That specification adds another high-end touch to the phone, although the rest of the rear camera setup has not been revealed yet.
There is still no clear information about additional lenses such as ultrawide or telephoto units. Even so, the mention of a metal frame points to a design that should feel as premium as the hardware specification sheet suggests.
Part of a wider iQOO product push
The iQOO 15T is not the only device the company is reportedly preparing for China. A new model from the Neo 11 line is also said to be in development as a gradual upgrade over the current model, although its specifications remain undisclosed.
iQOO is also preparing a flagship tablet called the iQOO Pad 6 Pro. It is reported to feature a 13.2-inch 4K LCD display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 16GB of RAM, and 612GB of storage.
The tablet is also said to use a 13,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, and its color options are listed as Man Dao, Grey Crystal, and Silver Wing. Against that backdrop, the iQOO 15T still stands out as the most closely watched device, thanks to its mix of a 2K 144Hz AMOLED screen, Dimensity 9500, 200MP camera, and unusually large 8,000mAh battery.
