Two new vivo phones are starting to surface at the same time, and both have already appeared in FCC certification. That alone suggests their launch cycle is moving closer, but the stronger headline belongs to the vivo V70 Lite 4G because of one unusually large number: a battery rated at 7,920 mAh.
The model is listed under the code V2604, and its name makes its positioning clear. It is a 4G-only device, so 5G support is not part of the package.
A new addition to the V70 family
The V70 Lite 4G would expand vivo’s V70 lineup even further. The series already includes the regular V70, V70 FE, and V70 Elite, which means the Lite 4G version would become the fourth member.
Beyond battery life, the FCC listing also reveals a generous memory configuration. The phone is shown with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, a combination that points to a device aimed at users who want both endurance and space.
The battery figure itself is the detail that stands out most. With a measured capacity of 7,920 mAh, the phone may be marketed as an 8,000 mAh or 8,100 mAh model.
Y05e appears with a simpler setup
At the same time, FCC documentation also shows the vivo Y05e. This model uses the code V2606 and is set up for a different segment than the V70 Lite 4G.
Its battery is rated at 5,050 mAh, which may translate to a typical marketed capacity of 5,200 mAh. The memory setup is much more modest as well, with only one listed variant: 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Software details are already visible for the Y05e. The phone is expected to run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top.
Different targets, different priorities
The two phones point to a clear split in vivo’s approach. The V70 Lite 4G focuses on large battery capacity and higher memory, while the Y05e stays in a more basic class.
That difference is easy to see in the hardware choices. One offers 8GB/256GB, while the other is listed at 4GB/64GB, showing two very different user targets within vivo’s upcoming lineup.
For now, the available information is still limited to FCC certification data. Details such as chipset, display size, camera system, charging speed, and design have not been revealed yet.
Even so, certification appearances often mean an official announcement is not far away. With both the vivo V70 Lite 4G and vivo Y05e now visible in the database, vivo appears to be preparing two new phones for two distinct segments at nearly the same time.
