B by Lenskart is entering early access with a pitch that is easy to understand: it looks like an ordinary pair of glasses, but it packs AI and imaging hardware that make it far more capable than typical eyewear. The product pairs a 12MP camera with a Google Gemini-powered assistant, while keeping the frame simple enough for everyday use.
That balance between familiar design and advanced features is central to how Lenskart is positioning the device. The glasses are being offered at an early access price of Rs 22,000, down from the listed Rs 27,000, and interested users can already join the waitlist as the rollout begins in stages.
A familiar frame with smart features inside
Lenskart has designed B by Lenskart to avoid the bulky look that often comes with smart wearables. The frame weighs about 45 grams and supports prescription lenses from -6 to +6, which helps it stay practical for regular wear.
The glasses come in Black and Silver, and the box includes a charging case. That approach reinforces the idea that this is meant to function as daily eyewear first, with the smart capabilities added underneath.
AI assistance and connected use
Under the surface, the device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform and includes 32GB of internal storage. It also supports Bluetooth 5.3 and works with iOS 18 and later, as well as Android 12 and later.
Interaction is built around touch controls, voice commands, and a built-in assistant powered by Google Gemini. Lenskart also includes a wake phrase for quicker voice activation, along with real-time AI help, multi-language support, note-taking, and hands-free capture.
Camera designed for photos and video
The imaging hardware is one of the main highlights. B by Lenskart uses a Sony 12MP camera with an ultra-wide 16mm lens, and it can shoot still images at up to 4032 x 3024 resolution.
For video, the glasses support 1080p recording in landscape mode. In portrait mode, they can record at 1440 x 1920 at 30fps, giving the device a clear role for users who want to capture vertical content directly from the glasses.
Audio, microphones, and battery life
Lenskart has also equipped the glasses with dual directional speakers for audio output. A triple-microphone setup handles voice calls and spoken commands, which matters because the device is built around hands-free use.
Battery life is rated at up to 4 hours on a single charge, while the charging case extends total usage to as much as 48 hours. Fast charging is supported as well, with 50 percent power reached in around 15 minutes, and users can recharge through the case or by cable.
