2,000-Nit AMOLED And 24-Day Battery Put Redmi Watch 6 In A Strong Global Position

Redmi Watch 6 is arriving in global markets with two specs that immediately shape its appeal: a 2,000-nit AMOLED screen and battery life rated for up to 24 days. That combination gives the smartwatch a strong position in the crowded midrange segment, where buyers often have to choose between display quality and endurance.

The watch has already been introduced in Poland, Romania, and Thailand. Xiaomi is also preparing an NFC version for Poland, which means the lineup is not identical across every market.

A brighter display built for everyday use

Redmi Watch 6 uses a 2.07-inch AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and 324ppi density. Xiaomi pairs that with a 2mm symmetrical bezel and an 82 percent screen-to-body ratio to keep the visual footprint compact.

The headline figure is the 2,000-nit peak brightness. That level should make the screen easier to read in direct sunlight, while always-on display support and raise-to-wake help users check information quickly without frequent taps.

Slimmer body, stronger materials

The watch body measures 9.9mm thick and uses a unibody aluminum alloy design. Xiaomi says it is 1.4mm thinner than the previous generation, which should help it feel lighter and more comfortable during all-day wear.

The company also claims the body material has 20 percent higher hardness and a 40 percent higher yield point. A physical button on the side adds practical shortcuts, including access to the control center, power menu, and an emergency contact shortcut triggered by three presses.

Battery life remains the biggest draw

Battery capacity is listed at 550mAh, and Xiaomi says that is enough for up to 24 days in light use. Under normal use, the watch is rated for 12 days, while intensive use is expected to last around seven days.

That endurance makes Redmi Watch 6 especially relevant for users who prefer not to charge their wearable every few days. It also fits the needs of people who use a smartwatch both for daily tracking and for workouts.

Fitness, health, and navigation support

Redmi Watch 6 supports more than 150 sports modes for a wide range of activities. It also includes independent GNSS with dual L1 antennas and support for five navigation systems, with the device automatically selecting the antenna with the strongest signal.

Xiaomi positions this setup for better location accuracy during outdoor running and cycling. The watch also carries 5ATM certification, which means it is suitable for use in rain and for swimming.

Health tracking covers 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, stress tracking, and sleep analysis. Xiaomi also includes breathing exercises, abnormal heart rate alerts, low blood oxygen notifications, and women’s health management features.

NFC model and pricing

The NFC variant adds contactless digital payments through Mastercard and Visa, and this option is offered in Poland. Xiaomi also equips the watch with a linear motor that supports more than 20 vibration patterns, which should make alerts and reminders feel more responsive.

In Thailand, Redmi Watch 6 is priced at 3,190 baht Thailand. The NFC version in Poland carries a price of 499 zloty Poland.
