A new Tecno phone with a “Slim” name is drawing attention for a reason that goes beyond its design label. The Camon Slim is now showing up across certification and service databases, and the early paperwork points to a battery capacity that is unusually large for a device expected to focus on a thin body.
That combination makes the model stand out immediately. The listings seen at Carlcare Service, FCC, and TÜV Rheinland also begin to outline the phone’s hardware profile, including its model number, memory options, charging support, and possible regional differences.
Model number and memory details are starting to surface
The Tecno Camon Slim has been listed on Carlcare Service under model number CN6c, according to The Tech Outlook. That entry shows 8GB of RAM and two storage variants, 128GB and 256GB.
The same CN6c model number also appears in FCC paperwork with FCC ID 2ADYYCN6C. That match strengthens the view that the different records are pointing to the same handset.
Charging hardware suggests 60W support
The FCC documents provide one of the clearest technical clues so far. They identify the phone with a U600TSA charging adapter, which points to 60W wired fast charging.
The same filing also names a Rechargeable Li-ion Polymer battery with the BL-68DX code. In that document, the battery is listed at 7,000mAh, a notably large figure for a phone carrying the Slim branding.
A horizontal camera module appears in the filings
Images tied to the FCC listing show the rear side of the device. Tecno Camon Slim appears to use a pill-shaped horizontal camera module with two sensors.
That design language is described as similar to the Tecno Spark Slim. Camera specifications are still unknown, but the layout suggests Tecno is keeping the rear panel simple and horizontally arranged.
Different battery capacities raise regional questions
The most interesting mismatch comes from TÜV Rheinland. The database lists two Rechargeable Li-ion polymer battery variants for Tecno Camon Slim, one at 5,800mAh and another at 5,430mAh.
Those figures differ from the 7,000mAh battery shown in the FCC filing. The gap suggests Tecno may be preparing different configurations for different markets, although no official explanation has been provided.
Such variation is not unusual in the smartphone industry. Brands often adjust hardware for separate regions based on regulation, market strategy, or product positioning.
Connectivity and early positioning remain limited
FCC paperwork also indicates support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, Bluetooth, and dual-band Wi-Fi. That places the device in the mainstream connectivity group used across many markets.
There is still no mention of 5G in the available certification details. Beyond those network entries, the broader specification sheet remains incomplete.
Chipset rumors point to a familiar mid-range direction
Outside the certification trail, Tecno Camon Slim is also rumored to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100. That detail has not appeared in the filings themselves, so it remains unconfirmed.
If that chipset turns out to be accurate, the model could fit into Tecno’s slim-device direction alongside phones such as the Spark Slim and Pova Slim. At the same time, the Camon name suggests Tecno may also want to link the device to design and camera-focused positioning.
For now, the strongest signals come from Carlcare Service, FCC, and TÜV Rheinland. The final battery capacity, chipset, and market-specific variants still remain to be confirmed by Tecno.
