8,000mAh and a Monster Chip Put iQOO 15T on the Radar of Every Mobile Gamer

iQOO is lining up a new flagship aimed squarely at performance-focused users, and the most eye-catching part is not just the chipset. The upcoming iQOO 15T pairs a special “Monster” version of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 with an 8,000mAh battery, a combination that immediately puts endurance and gaming power at the center of the conversation.

The phone is scheduled to launch on 20 May, according to data that has already surfaced through China Telecom and information shared by leaker Digital Chat Station. That early appearance suggests iQOO is preparing a device that goes beyond the usual flagship formula, with a clear emphasis on sustained performance rather than only raw specs on paper.

Built for heavy gaming loads

At the heart of the iQOO 15T is the Dimensity 9500 “Monster” edition, listed under model number MT6993. iQOO is also pairing it with its own Q3 gaming chip, creating a setup that is meant to handle demanding workloads with less strain.

Early testing points in that direction. In a 30-minute run of Genshin Impact at extreme 60fps+ settings in a 26-degree Celsius room, the device reportedly delivered an average frame rate of 60.2fps, a 1% low frame rate of 57.8fps, and power consumption of just 4.99W.

A battery that stands out immediately

The other major headline is the 8,000mAh battery, which is unusually large for a flagship phone. That capacity should give the iQOO 15T a strong advantage for long gaming sessions and heavy daily use.

For charging, the phone supports 100W fast charging. One important detail from the leaks is the absence of wireless charging, which means the device appears to focus more on battery size and wired charging speed than on extra premium convenience features.

Display choices aimed at smooth visuals

The iQOO 15T will reportedly use a 6.82-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is said to be flat, a design choice that often appeals to gamers because it reduces accidental touches at the edges.

That display setup fits the rest of the phone’s positioning. High refresh rate output and a flat panel make the device look designed for users who care about responsiveness during gaming and a cleaner touch experience in daily use.

Camera and memory specifications

On the imaging side, the phone is said to include a 200-megapixel main camera alongside a 50-megapixel secondary camera. The exact sensor details have not been revealed, but the configuration still gives the camera setup a notable place in the overall package.

For selfies, iQOO 15T is expected to use a 16-megapixel front camera. Memory options are also broad, with configurations ranging from 8GB+256GB up to 16GB+512GB.

Launch details and color options

China Telecom data points to a launch on 20 May, and iQOO is also said to be preparing other products for the same event, including the iQOO Pad 6 Pro and TWS 5i. That wider lineup suggests the brand is planning a more complete product showcase around the new phone.

The iQOO 15T is expected to arrive in several versions, and the listed color choices include Qingyun, Track Edition, and Legendary Edition. With its large battery, high-refresh display, special-performance chipset, and strong early benchmark behavior, the device is shaping up as one of the more attention-grabbing entries in the Android flagship and gaming segment.
