Internal testing reportedly reached 240Hz on a flat 6.78-inch OLED screen, a figure that would place the device among the smoothest OnePlus phones if it reaches the final product.
That display is said to carry a 1.5K resolution and a guaranteed minimum refresh rate of 185Hz. The details come from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, who indicated that the panel is being evaluated on an engineering prototype rather than a retail unit.
A display aimed at heavy motion use
A 240Hz panel would matter most to users who notice motion clarity immediately, especially mobile gamers. In practical terms, a higher refresh rate can make interface scrolling and fast on-screen action feel more fluid, which is why the Ace 7 is starting to look like a performance-first device.
